There is A SUPER easy way just dl a program called Puzzle & Dragons backup ( rooted and unrooted) if you have a rooted phone you can get the premium version for free through IAP which lets you have ( I think ) unlimited accs while being able to name them
Thank you for the guide! I'm about to get a Nexus 7 tablet, and this will be very helpful!

My question is this:

Is there a limit to the number of accounts you can create? I'm assuming no because you can just keep creating additional g-mail accounts. Also, is it possible to bind multiple PAD accounts to a single g-mail account?

Thanks again!

There is no limit on how many accounts you can create.

I have not personally tested it and likely never will at this point (potentially loosing my account and waiting for gungho to restore it is worth the risk at this point.)
But 2 other forum users have had success binding multiple P&D accounts to 1 gmail, so it is possible.

I had a question about the dungeons becoming melded together. I use root browser, and I have separate folders for each account which are named after the first roll.. (IE: "r ares", "r isis", "r loki") which contain the data048 and data056 files within them. These folders are located in data>data where the jp.gungho.padEN folder is located. The process I go through for switching accounts is this:

1. Copy current game data048 and data056 files and overwrite the older versions of them.
2. Kill the app from recent processes.
3. Delete current data048 and data056 files in the jp.gungho.padEN>files that I had just copied.
4. Go to one of my other folders located in data>data named ("r ares", "r isis", "r loki") and copy their data048 and data056 files and paste them into the jp.gungho.padEN>files folder.
5. Start and run the game.

I have no problems switching accounts, but on my main account I am up to Vesta Cave. If I switch my account to another one using the process as described above, my new lower level account will show all the dungeons up to Vesa Cave. Although I cannot enter them, sometimes there's no way for me to tell which dungeon I am on. There's no flashing "New" to indicate how far I am. So the only way for me to find out is to try to enter the dungeon and see if there's an error telling me I am not able to enter the dungeon. It's not really a big deal, but it gets annoying if I have to check like 5+ dungeons.

After this really long post, my question is, has anyone else experienced this? Or is there anyway to prevent the merging of the dungeons from happening?

You need to fully exit the game before doing any account swaps, first step every time.

Are you copying and deleting the bin files separately?
Or are you doing a group delete and copy?

What sounds like is happening is the account still has the other accounts .56 file still somehow, this error can happen when batch copying files, or when the game is still running as you try to alter them.

.56 is a temporary file the game changes often, if you don't have the game entirely closed then it might not get copied or moved correctly and you can start to see errors like the one your experiencing.

Also if you just setup the data migration for each account you can just delete the 2 bin files in the files folder. Then start pad and allow the data migration feature to re-download those 2 bin files for you. I never have errors doing it this way, other than typing in my ID wrong or selecting the wrong email because I am in a rush.
Okay, I'll try fully exiting the game first time, every time. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.

I copy and delete them as a group.

Thanks for the response. I'll try your suggestion!
I have a question about running two devices with the same account. Prior to introducing data migration, I know this was possible; I had a rooted phone and tablet and was able to run the same PAD account on both. After my phone broke I was left to playing the game on my tablet. I now have a new Android phone which I don't plan on rooting, so I could only use data migration to migrate the data from my tablet to my phone, then use a Titanium Backup made on my tablet to avoid the data reset on the old device after transferring to the new. The problem is, when I do this, I can no longer get any server responses on my old tablet when it says "Connecting." Is it still possible to have the same account running on multiple devices? I like playing on my phone when I'm on the go, but when I'm at home I prefer the larger screen real estate of a tablet.
Hmm, honestly I'm not sure the trouble you are having or the solution to it.

So you now have the pad account migrated onto both devices but one of them will not boot?

It is still possible to use the same account on 2 devices.

If I had to guess something TI backup is doing may be the problem.

If you just use the data migration feature then you should not need TI backup at all.
Has anyone every tried the root retrieval method in the Japanese version? It's not working for me Sad
I've PAD on my tablet, is it possible to use the same account on my phone by copying data48 and 58?

Also if play on my tablet and level up, the next time I play on my phone, it will update the account and level up as well?
