    Introduction

    Who is Suzaku?

Suzaku is the Japanese name for the Chinese Vermillion Bird (Zhū Què)(朱雀). This symbol is associated with the element fire, the direction South, and the Summer season.

Here is one picture of her constellation:

    Suzaku Misconceptions

These conclusions were first posted in the original Suzaku guide I began to make 8/23/13, their conclusions still apply and of course will be reevaluated as new versions are rolled out.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------
    CONCLUSIONS
    --------------------------------------------------------------------

The main goal in the original post of this information was to see the best subs for descends as a way to determine which subs I and others should level up. The updated teams that have faired the best both in theorycraft and in the game based on JP vids and NA player base victory posts are posted in the Descend Build Guide section.

Conclusion 1 (Re: Orb Changers): As of the four latest big gameplay updates: Tamas, Row teams, 2 prong teams, and Awoken Uvos (&Challenge dungeons Lv10) orb changers are back in the mix. Originally, orb changers (Valk/Verche/Homura/CuChu) did not figure into Suzaku descend builds. They were simply good for beginner training wheels and were all farmable. They remain a utility sub but increasingly, REM exclusive orb changers, such as Ares/Misato/CaoCao/LiuBei to name a few, are important both for Rowzaku teams and also tpa based teams. Valk remains a good investment especially if you will focus on light teams; Verche is replaced by Ilya. Basically orb changers that have either a row enhance or tpa are becoming essential subs on many different teams. The best of these cards will have at least 1 row, at least 2 tpa, and a double AS (orb change + something else).

Conclusion 2 (Re: Suzaku Descend Builds/Team Types): Suzaku descend builds that are stable and can be scaled to Mythical descends and/or current end-game are now diverging in requirements.

Traditional: This team type was the original Suzaku build for descends and has shown remarkable longevity as new game mechanics continue to be rolled out. It often features subs with varying utility; the most common being: Delay, Reduction, Gravity. Many of these subs can be farmable making it particularly non-iap friendly and beginner friendly. Delay: Echidna; Damage Reduction: Susano/Indra/Sherospada; Gravity: Zera. These three sub types are invaluable. The elephant in the room remains the need to skill up gravities. However, several have played through Legend with 0 skill ups on their gravities. Increasingly, hybrid builds, also under this team type, can also scale very well end-game. For example, pairing with Kushi for those that can match and cascade very well can even dispense with gravity in most cases and focus on orb changing for burst, this may be particularly useful for Suzaku team in the new larger 7x6 boards. The caveat with hybrid builds is that you lose the extra damage reduction from double Awoken Suzaku pairing.

Type-based Burst: With the release of Awoken Suzaku, Godburst (Izanagi) has fallen aside, but Wood heavy-tpa attacker burst teams remain viable. Once LiuBei triple tpa uvo was announced, this build jumped in power and remains very strong. Having at least 1 LB is critical. Vishnu tripla tpa works, but not as well as LB because of the orb change. GZL remains the standard burst for this team. With Awoken Suzaku, this team can be particularly strong, having fire/wood/light reduced thanks to the awoken LS damage reduction, and a wood heavy sub lineup with tpas will be strong elementally against water, which leaves just dark. However, Awoken uvo eliminates RL Suzaku as a friend lead, and requires a good light sub or wood/light or fire/light sub, preferably attacker tpa for which there are limited options. WLSusano is an excellent choice or RLSuzaku, but this last spot remains flex (LB/LB/GZL/flex light).

Rowzaku: Delay and Gravity are rarely used on this team, but REM exclusive orb changers with Fire Row awakenings are relied upon to burst through with massive damage potential. It scales very well to mythical/end-game, but can be short on RCV even when egged. Of all the team types, it still bursts the highest damage. Rowzaku wants to eliminate heart/dark/water orbs and burst rows that way, or utilize things like Laila or Scarlet after a fire weak 7 star. Awoken Suzaku has shifted the ideal team lineup for Rowzaku, but also opened other doors to even more powerful lineups. Kagu/Minerva, once the gold standard for Rowzaku lineups can still work, obviously, but their combined lack of wood or light element, meager 1 SB, and no SBR, means they seem lacking in awakenings and require wood and light subs in last two slots, perhaps limiting fire focus and thus damage. CaoCao/Misato is one of the new gold standards after Awoken Suzaku, since they cover wood/light sub elements, have tpa and rows awakenings and all the goodies we need like SBR too. FLAres is also an excellent rowzaku sub. Aside from very low RCV even at hypermax, this team is still vulnerable to binds. One can easily reach 10 row awakenings on a team now!

Conclusion 3: While hybrid builds used to be a strong possibility for us, xKushi being the most widely used, there is a disincentive to use them now, because you lose out on the extra damage reduction to fire/wood/light from the Awoken Suzaku friend.

Conclusion 4: DQ Hera preemptive strike in things like Challenge Dungeons Level 10 have put a cramp in many many builds, including Suzaku. However, we have access to Mamiya, perhaps the single best silver collab card out there, with her 20% Dark element resist awkenings, and light sub element coverage, and good RCV, and AS orb change, she is instantly on many Rowzaku teams and other teams that need to tank that preemptive hit. If you missed her the first time, please join the prayer circle for FoTNS to come back so we can all pull for her! She is that important that I suggest pulling in a collab REM!!

Suzaku Ultimate Evolution Comparison, Now with Awoken Suzaku!

    Awoken Suzaku:
    • high HP, but RCV has taken a big hit
    • amazing LS, up to 51% damage reduction to fire/wood/light bosses
    • better awakenings with 2 SBs and 1 SBR, and 2 rows
    • Requires wood/light subs again, which can be limiting depending on box
    • Rowzaku even stronger
    • still weak to water element, no real help against dark heavy dungeons either.

    R/G:
    • overall higher activation rate
    • Balanced burst potential with Robin, GC Crab, Woodsie or 1654 Knight
    • better flexibility for Rowzaku teams because can activate with hearts
    • better overall weighted stats, especially in HP and RCV

    R/L:
    • Attacker sub-type allows for her use as a great high atk sub in many other teams
    • high ATK comes at a steep loss in HP and RCV
    • high ATK means pairing with Kushi/Bastet is desirable
    • potentially strong team with TPA and/or Attacker burst
    • same activation rate as original Suzaku pre-uvo

99% of players will choose Awoken Suzaku. Hands down! However, if you are fortunate to have dupe Suzakus, you may consider RG or RL to cover the off element, or if you have those covered, a second Awoken Suzaku is a great sub on her own team.

Conclusion 5: From all of the descends JP and NA have played with Suzaku, a few key teams have emerged as possibilities other's might want to work towards. In many cases, non-REM utility mobs can be subbed, but I will give optimal teams and note just a few glaring cases where subs are possible. Finally, many thanks to francon's post here now outdated but was an original inspiration in the team guide comparison and is still worth mentioning for that reason. For everyone's convenience, I've included PDX links to the team builds so you can play with +egg numbers and sub in different members. In addition, utilizing Arkaether's calculator will give rewards tenfold back to you.

These Suzaku Descend Guide Teams are now found HERE.

+EGGS and SKILLUPS with a dash of the correct choice of subs, and ultimately player skill = Suzaku Mythical Clears/end-game content

    For Those Seeking Suzaku Advice
Please, Please, have actually taken the time to read this guide. Almost everything in covered here. If you would still like to run a few builds you have already come up with past the more experienced Suzaku players, then please provide at the very minimum: goals in-game, (0 stone mythicals, or collector, or best end-game suzaku team with least investment (investment being tama, eggs, skillups via stones etc)). Number of other mains you will lead with. Playstyle you prefer. What will get me specific descend cards the fastest, with least stones etc etc.

This is the bare minimum so we can help you assess your cards and give insight into what will net you the best in the end as the game currently stands. Help us help you.

    Awoken Leilan Team Building Ideology

With the change to Awoken Leilan's leader skill to include a damage reduction mechanic, quite a bit has changed in terms of her playstyle and viable team compositions. In general, an awoken Leilan team will now play relatively safe against fire, wood and light type enemies, and will be most threatened by dark and especially water type enemies. Water enemies are the biggest threat to any awoken Leilan team as not only do we take full damage from them, but also do half damage to them, making it much more difficult to burst through than a comparable dark enemy. As a result, a successful Leilan team will be geared towards effectively dealing with dark and water type enemies and will typically be able to stall and recharge actives on the other elements. There are a few main team types that will be able to effectively do this.

    Rowzaku-
Rowzaku team compositions are alive and well with the new awoken evo (although now even less flexible and more REM dependant). Rowzaku teams will deal with the threat of dark or blue enemies with sheer damage output. Their solution to a dark or water element threat is just to burst straight through with rows, damage multipliers, and if you're lucky enough to have one, the red marionette (who is a godsend for rowzaku teams). Your playstyle with this type of team would be to carefully stall against r/g/l enemies where you need to, and otherwise burst through enemies without taking damage.

    Pros-
    • Huge potential burst damage
    • Takes advantage of row awakenings on leads
    • Color Consistency
    Cons-
    • Red teams have generally low RCV
    • Weak against blue
    • Very susceptible to red binds
    • Plus egg dependant

    Sample Team:

    Stats:
    HP:
    20,815 (26,755 fully egged)
    RCV: 1,404 (3,186 fully egged)

This would be a pretty solid overall Rowzaku lineup. You have plenty of burst options, and a huge burst available with Ares and Freyr, particularly if you clear dark orbs from the board on the previous turn. The new split uvo of Amenouzume would be a must for any dungeons with dangerous binds. Mamiya is terrific for Rowzaku teams as she adds a significant damage reduction to one of the two elements not resisted by Leilan's leader skill, and provides solid rcv and a useful active as well.

    Green TPA
Green TPA, believe it or not, is a very viable alternative to a mono red Leilan team despite abandoning 4 row awakenings on the leads. The reason for this is that green TPA addresses the biggest threat to Auvo Leilan teams: water type enemies. These setups still benefit from Leilan's active skill and are quite capable of doing large amounts of damage with the right board.

    Pros-
    • Extemely effective against blue enemies
    • Still effective with 7 star actives
    • Abundance of good green TPA subs
    Cons-
    • Still generally low RCV
    • Waste of red row awakenings on leads
    • Plus egg dependant
    • Relatively low HP
    Sample Team:

    Stats:
    HP:
    18,376 (26,186 fully egged)
    RCV: 1,722 (3,364 fully egged)

This would be a decent green TPA based team. You have 2 triple TPA and one double TPA green subs to really maximize the damage from your available green orbs. Liu Bei is a solid orb changer that doesn't prevent Leilan activation, and Vishnu can provide additional skyfalls, higher concentration of green orbs on boards after his active is used, and can strengthen a 7 star board for green TPA without preventing activation (there's a huge difference in damage between 6 and 8 green orbs with this team). Shotel is nice because her active is available every 3 turns when max skilled. On this particular lineup, Susano is stuck in his G/L variant to cover light. Despite the loss of damage versus another double or triple TPA card, his active and bind immunity can come in very handy, especially with the lower RCV this team boasts.

    Utility Focused-
Utility based teams are less about raw damage output than the teams above and more about having the utility available to address any problems the dungeon may present. They also tend to be easier to form without significant REM investment and have higher RCV. These teams are generally more forgiving of mistakes as well. The downside is that they will need to be tailored to the specific dungeon you're running and will require more theorycrafting in terms of how you'll approach the dungeon.

    Pros-
    • Less REM reliant
    • Better RCV
    • Can be more forgiving to play
    Cons-
    • Will require a larger sub pool for the needs of specific dungeons
    • Lack the damage output of the above teams
    • More stalling required/more dependent on actives
    Sample Team:

    Stats:
    HP:
    19,636 (25,576 fully egged)
    RCV: 2,627 (4,409 fully egged)

This team is like the Swiss Army Knife of Leilan setups. The team packs both delay from echidna and damage reduction from Susano to make it possible to survive unresisted enemies. Lmeta provides a bind clear, and Zera is available for enemies where delay or damage reduction won't get the job done. If Zera active is needed, stalling is going to be required. Skill bind immunity is also difficult to get with farmable subs but still attainable with lux utility options.

    Conclusion-
This is just an overview of the general successful compositions available to Leilan. None of them are perfect, nor are the sample lineups the best available within each group for every dungeon. With any descend, you want to know what you'll be facing and make sure that you prepare for it properly. The above teams also aren't the only ones that will work. I've seen players like @Derpinator beat difficult content with light row based teams for example. But more niche teams like that will require very specific subs and very detailed planning to be successful. My hope in outlining these team options is to give you some context in which to consider your box and the subs list below to help steer you towards the team that best fits your box and/or playstyle.

    FIRE-

    Row Based

    Avenging War Deity, Ares
    God/Physical
    HP: 3712 (4702 @ +99)
    ATK: 1694 (2189 @ +99)
    RCV: 80 (377 @ +99)
Active: Change Heart & Water orbs to Fire orbs.
Cooldown: 8 Turns (Max: 16 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: Grace of the War Deity
Effect: Fire attribute cards HP x2, ATK x2.

The new Ares uvo is an amazing sub for Auvo Leilan. 3 row awakenings and a dual orb change make him a very strong offensive sub, and a skill boost and skill bind resist give him some decent utility as well. He also covers light which is nice, and this uvo at least provides a small amount of RCV. Overall a top tier sub for a red row based team.

Red Puppet Master of Destruction, Pure Machina
    Machine
    HP: 2885 (3875 @ +99)
    ATK: 1386 (1881 @ +99)
    RCV: 358 (655 @ +99)
Active: Change all enemies attributes to Wood. ( Ignores status shield )
Cooldown: 15 Turns (Max: 20 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: 炎魂の機操術
Effect: Fire attribute cards ATK x1.5. Machine type cards HP x1.5, ATK x1.5, RCV x1.5.

The recently added fire Marionette is an absolutely amazing sub for Auvo Leilan in general, and especially for row based mono fire teams. The ability to convert blue enemies that we do half damage to and receive unmitigated damage from to green where we do double damage and take half damage is HUGE. As an added bonus she has decent awakenings, solid RCV for a red card, and covers green as well. This monster will greatly increase the effectiveness of Auvo Leilan in high end content. She may singlehandedly propel Auvo Leilan into challenge 10s consistently.

    Awoken Leilan
    Physical/Attacker
    HP: 3935 (4925 @ +99)
    ATK: 1607 (2102 @ +99)
    RCV: 202 (499 @ +99)
Active: Change all orbs to Fire, Wood & Light orbs. Reduces cooldown of other skills by 1 turn.
Cooldown: 9 Turns (Max: 13 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: 三護・緋天の舞
Effect: All attribute cards ATK x3.5 when attacking with Fire, Wood & Light combos. 30% Fire, Wood & Light damage reduction.

Awoken Leilan, not surprisingly, is a great sub for her own team. The active is nice, and the haste added to it with the Awoken form can help make chaining actives much easier. She has great awakenings as well. The R/G and R/L forms of Suzaku are also viable subs if you need the color coverage and the R/G version can bring some decent RCV to your team as well.

    Broad-Minded Hell Demon, Scarlet
    Devil
    HP: 3172 (4162 @ +99)
    ATK: 1652 (2147 @ +99)
    RCV: 422 (719 @ +99)
Active: Randomly spawn 4 Fire orbs from non Fire orbs. Reduces cooldown of other skills by 1 turn.
Cooldown: 7 Turns (Max: 17 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: 幻惑の蛇炎
Effect: ATK x4 when simultaneously clearing 8 connected Fire orbs. ATK x0.5 for each additional orb, up to ATK x5 at 10 connected orb.

Scarlet will be an upcoming farmable boss, and as a farmable she's really pretty impressive. Her awakenings are terrific, her active generates red orbs for us as well as giving a turn of haste, and at 788 weighted stats (and 422 RCV!) shes no slouch in the stats department either. One of the really nice things about her active is that she can be used in conjunction with a 7 star to give better burst. You'll want to be careful using her on boards that are already very red heavy to prevent removing light and green needed for activation, but there are a lot of scenarios where she could turn a 1 red row 7 star board into a 2 row 7 star board, and using both actives gives 2 turns of haste as an added benefit. All in all, theres no reason a dedicated Leilan player shouldn't grab one of these if they're able when she becomes available.

    Unrequited Warrior Woman, Mamiya
    Healer
    HP: 2123 (3113 @ +99)
    ATK: 1028 (1523 @ +99)
    RCV: 425 (722 @ +99)
Active: Change Jammer & Water orbs to Fire orbs.
Cooldown: 6 Turns (Max: 11 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: I'm Fine With That Star
Effect: Healer type cards ATK x2.5, RCV x1.5.

Without a doubt the best collab silver for fire based Leilan teams. Mamiya is a short CD fire orb maker that also converts annoying jammers. She has good awakenings, with a row, skill boost, skill bind resist, and a bind clear awakening that can come in handy in a pinch. She also provides solid RCV which is much needed on mono red teams, and covers light with her sub element. The thing that really makes her stand out however is her 20% dark damage resistance from awakenings. This makes it possible for Leilan teams to have significant resists to 4 out of 5 elements and will help with that painful DQ Hera preempt we all dread. She will be a big investment, with 9 awakenings and requiring flampy to skill up, but well worth it in my opinion.

    Awoken Freyr
    Attacker/Physical
    HP: 4025 (5015 @ +99)
    ATK: 1712 (2207 @ +99)
    RCV: 137 (434 @ +99)
Active: Fire & Water attribute cards ATK x2 for 1 turn. Reduces cooldown of other skills by 1 turn.
Cooldown: 12 Turns (Max: 16 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: 勝利の剣の先駆
Effect: Fire attribute cards ATK x2.5, RCV x2.5. Fire attribute cards ATK x1.3 on the turn a skill is used. ( Multiple skills will not stack )

Freyr is the damage booster of choice for red row based teams. 2 row enhance awakenings and his active make him a solid damage boost for any red row based team with the added bonus of now giving a turn of haste as well. His two skill bind resist awakenings also go a long way towards making a rowzaku lineup bind immune. The main downsides to his awoken evo are that he loses light sub type for coverage and a ton or RCV versus the R/L version so consider for yourself and your team if the tradeoff is worth it.

    Flame Twin Star Ifrit
    Dragon/Devil
    HP: 2957 (3947 @ +99)
    ATK: 1638 (2133 @ +99)
    RCV: 220 (517 @ +99)
Active: Inflict Fire damage equal to ATK x20 to all enemies. Affected by enemy element and defense. Fire attribute ATK x1.3 for 2 turns.
Cooldown: 8 Turns (Max: 30 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Twin Fire Spiral
Effect: ATK x2.5 when simultaneously clearing 5 connected Fire orbs. ATK x0.5 for each additional orb, up to ATK x3 at 6 connected orb.

If you don't have Freyr and are in need of some extra burst, Ifrit is your farmable option. While not as good in general as Freyr and requiring significant investment to skill up, Ifrit does have the benefit of having light and green sub element evolutions available.

    Inferno Sorcerer, Laila
    Attacker/Healer
    HP: 2025 (3015 @ +99)
    ATK: 1436 (1931 @ +99)
    RCV: 511 (808 @ +99)
Active: Change bottom-most row into Fire orbs.
Cooldown: 5 Turns (Max: 9 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Magic Boost
Effect: All attribute cards ATK x3 on the turn a skill is used. ( Multiple skills will not stack )

Laila is a pretty interesting card for Auvo Leilan. While not spectacular in any area, she has it where it counts. Only 3 awakenings, but a row boost and skill bind resist are great, and the TPS can also come in handy at times when you aren't using actives. 660 weighted stats aren't amazing either, but 511 RCV for a mono red team is huge so she has it where it counts. And her active generating a row of fire orbs on a 5 turn CD is nice in general, but even better when you consider that it can be used after 7 Star to turn a somewhat unreliable active (who hasn't gotten the 7 star with 5 or less red orbs?) into a pretty reliable and consistent burst. Certainly a card to consider, especially when skillup fodder arrives to make her easier to max skill.

    Blazing CyberDragon, Thuban
    Awoken Skill Material/Dragon
    HP: 3096 (4086 @ +99)
    ATK: 1491 (1986 @ +99)
    RCV: 125 (422 @ +99)
Active: Change top-most row into Fire orbs. Reduces cooldown of other skills by 1 turn.
Cooldown: 8 Turns (Max: 13 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Ruby Coating
Effect: Machine type cards ATK x2, RCV x2. Fire attribute cards ATK x1.5 on the turn a skill is used. ( Multiple skills will not stack )

Thuban is pretty similar to Laila in function. His active has a longer cooldown but gives a turn of haste, and he trades a skill bind resist for bind immunity and two fire row awakenings. He also has slightly lower weighted stats and considerably lower RCV. If you have the choice between the two I'd go with Laila (assuming both are max skill) unless you really need the bind immunity.

    Awoken Minerva
    Dragon/Devil
    HP: 3069 (4059 @ +99)
    ATK: 1609 (2104 @ +99)
    RCV: 368 (665 @ +99)
Active: Reduce enemies' defense by 50% for 1 turn. Effects carry forward on sweep. Change Dark orbs to Fire orbs.
Cooldown: 5 Turns (Max: 7 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: Purgatory Dragon's Divine Magic
Effect: Fire attribute & Dragon type cards ATK x2.5. 50% Light & Dark damage reduction.

One of the first awoken evolutions, and still an excellent sub. She's one of the few options we have to convert dark to red, is bind immune, and has good overall stats including a solid 368 RCV. The armor reduction component can also come in handy allowing us to burst through high defense enemies rather than pinging them down. Shes also really nice as a lead in certain situations, so if you have her, she really is worth developing.

    TPA
    Dominating Warrior King, Cao Cao
    Dragon/Attacker
    HP: 3295 (4285 @ +99)
    ATK: 1956 (2451 @ +99)
    RCV: 27 (324 @ +99)
Active: Delay 1 turn to all enemies. Change Water orbs to Fire orbs.
Cooldown: 9 Turns (Max: 14 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Legendary Tactics
Effect: Attacker type cards HP x1.35, ATK x3.

Cao Cao is an awesome Leilan sub, and while he's here in the TPA section, he's a great row sub too. With a row and two TPA awakenings, great ATK and an orb maker active, he's an awesome offensive sub. But he also has a delay as part of his active, two skill boosts and a skill bind resist, and covers green for you also, which gives him some good utility as well. His only shortcoming is his poor RCV, but given everything else he brings to the table he's still probably the best sub to cover green on a mono red team.

    Misato&AAA Wunder, Main Battery Gunfire
    Attacker/Awoken Skill Material
    HP: 2895 (3885 @ +99)
    ATK: 1780 (2275 @ +99)
    RCV: 282 (579 @ +99)
Active: Change Dark & Heart orbs to Fire orbs.
Cooldown: 9 Turns (Max: 16 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Ship of Hope
Effect: Attacker type cards ATK x2.5, RCV x2.

Before the recent uvo, Misato was already an excellent Leilan sub, but now with the added awakenings she becomes even better. Bind immune and with a bind clear awakening, two TPA, a row, and a skill boost make her top tier in terms of awakenings, and she also has a dual orb change active with haste, decent RCV, and covers light. Overall a top tier sub for Leilan, and if you happen to have Cao Cao to go with her you have an incredibly solid core that can make a very red heavy R/G/L board. As an added bonus, the Eva Collab renewal gave us skillups for her, so its no longer necessary to Pii her for skillups. All in all, if you have a Misato you should consider yourself very lucky.

    Ruling Firestorm God, Set
    God/Attacker
    HP: 3450 (4440 @ +99)
    ATK: 1689 (2184 @ +99)
    RCV: 126 (423 @ +99)
Active: Change Heart orbs to Fire orbs. Fire attribute ATK x1.5 for 1 turn.
Cooldown: 12 Turns (Max: 17 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Burning Instinct
Effect: Fire attribute cards HP x1.35, RCV x1.35. ATK x3.5 when attacking with 4 of following orb types: Fire, Water, Wood, Light, Dark & Heart.

With his recent uvo, Set took a massive leap up the ranks in terms of effectiveness. His dual purpose active is nice, and the triple TPA along with it make him a very solid offensive sub. The red orb enhance are also nice (with Set and 2 Leilan leads, you have 6 of them for a guarantee that every naturally falling red orb will be enhanced, and combos that contain enhanced orbs will do 30% more damage), and a skill boost is welcome as well.

    Awoken Hinokagutsuchi
    Dragon/Physical
    HP: 4020 (5010 @ +99)
    ATK: 1560 (2055 @ +99)
    RCV: 91 (388 @ +99)
Active: Reduce enemies' defense by 75% for 1 turn. Effects carry forward on sweep. Change Water orbs to Fire orbs, Heart orbs to Dark orbs.
Cooldown: 8 Turns (Max: 12 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: Divine Fire of the Asylum
Effect: Deal ATK x15 damage to all enemies after every orbs elimination. Ignores enemy element, but can be reduced by enemy defense down to 0 damage.

How could we talk about red TPA without mentioning awoken Kagu? The first 3 TPA monster, and still hits like a truck. His active should be considered as a single orb changer since generating dark orbs doesn't help us with Leilan. It does however have the added component of a 75% defense reduction for one turn, allowing us to sweep through high defense enemies like fat metal dragon. Not quite on the level of Misato or Cao as a sub, he still is solid, and especially so when you need a defense mitigation option.

    Twin Blade Brave, Shotel
    Attacker/Attacker
    HP: 2916 (3906 @ +99)
    ATK: 1719 (2214 @ +99)
    RCV: 221 (518 @ +99)
Active: Change own attribute to Wood for 1 turn. Attacker type cards ATK x1.5 for 1 turn.
Cooldown: 3 Turns (Max: 10 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Gale Fencing
Effect: Wood attribute cards ATK x3.5 when HP is greater than 50%.

The weapon series is a bit odd and hasn't seen much use as a result, but auvo Leilan is one place where Shotel in particular actually fits in. While the element conversion doesn't help with color coverage, it does help when you need to burst past a blue enemy. Shotel switching element means in this case she goes from doing half damage to doing double damage to blue, and the 1.5x boost for attackers increases your output as well. With Leilan now being phys/attacker and a lot of her better red and green subs being attacker type, it isn't hard to take advantage of the active. And with a 3 turn minimum cooldown, especially with all the potential haste actives you can get, you'll be able to get frequent use out of Shotels active. Two skill boost and two TPA awakenings mean Shotel is also bringing more than just her active to your team.

    Awoken Shiva
    Attacker/Devil
    HP: 3731 (4721 @ +99)
    ATK: 1902 (2397 @ +99)
    RCV: 53 (350 @ +99)
Active: Reduce enemies' defense by 75% for 1 turn. Effects carry forward on sweep. Enhance Fire & Heart orbs. +6% per orb, up to +180% for full board.
Cooldown: 9 Turns (Max: 13 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: Destruction God's Heavenly Might
Effect: Fire attribute cards ATK x1.5, RCV x1.5. ATK x2 at 4 combos. ATK x0.5 for each additional combo, up to ATK x3 at 6 combos.

Awoken Shiva is another damage boost option for a TPA focused team. Awoken Shiva has amazing awakenings, very solid overall stats and a defense reduction effect to his active as well. And there's no denying that you'd get someuse out of him as a lead as well. Well worth developing for a TPA based team.

    Armored Blue Flame Knight, Nim
    Attacker/Healer
    HP: 2068 (3058 @ +99)
    ATK: 1404 (1899 @ +99)
    RCV: 410 (707 @ +99)
Active: Attacker type cards ATK x2.5 for 1 turn. Inflict damage equal to ATK x30 to 1 enemy. Affected by enemy element and defense.
Cooldown: 10 Turns (Max: 15 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: Chivalry of the Red Globe
Effect: Attacker type cards HP x2, ATK x2.

Nim is yet another TPA based damage boost card. 2.5x for attackers makes her damage boost stronger than Shotels but on a higher cooldown. Stats and awakenings aren't that great either (though her RCV is great), so if you're taking her it's really just for the active. Still worth considering, especially for something like Arena where you need a huge burst.

    Phoenix Goddess, Valkyrie Femme
    Healer/God
    HP: 2508 (3498 @ +99)
    ATK: 1389 (1884 @ +99)
    RCV: 656 (953 @ +99)
Active: Change Heart orbs to Fire orbs.
Cooldown: 5 Turns (Max: 11 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Burning Bravery
Effect: Healer & God type cards ATK x3.

The REM Valkyrie series all make for solid subs for their respective colors, and Femme is no different for red. She works as both a row and TPA sub, and is one of the best RCV boosters for a mono red team you'll find. She also covers light with her sub element and provides a very useful active as well.

    Flame-Winged CyberBeast, Markab
    Machine/God
    HP: 3024 (4014 @ +99)
    ATK: 1467 (1962 @ +99)
    RCV: 254 (551 @ +99)
Active: Change left-most column into Fire orbs. Reduces cooldown of other skills by 1 turn.
Cooldown: 7 Turns (Max: 12 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Ruby Converter
Effect: Machine type cards ATK x3. Fire attribute cards ATK x1.5 on the turn a skill is used. ( Multiple skills will not stack )

Markab is basically a TPA alternative to Thuban. Again, pretty average stats, unbindable, two TPA awakenings, and the ability to strengthen a 7 star board. One plus for Markab is that he is green sub element so he can cover green in a mono red team.

    Dino Rider, Wild Drake
    Attacker/Dragon
    HP: 2702 (3692 @ +99)
    ATK: 1860 (2355 @ +99)
    RCV: 80 (377 @ +99)
Active: All Wood Orbs become Fire Orbs. All Heart Orbs become Wood Orbs.
Cooldown: 7 Turns (Max: 13 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: Cut off the Retreat
Effect: Attacker type cards ATK x2.5.

The riders were the first series to get more than one TPA awakening, and are still relevant for TPA teams, though their overall stats leave much to be desired. Dino Rider does provide a decent orb change active, solid awakenings (including a row so he can be used on row based teams), and a green sub element for coverage. Better than most farmables, but I wouldn't use him over most REM cards unless you absolutely need him for the color coverage.

    Hokuto Shinken Master, Kenshiro
    Physical/Attacker
    HP: 3505 (4495 @ +99)
    ATK: 1620 (2115 @ +99)
    RCV: 76 (373 @ +99)
Active: Reduce enemies' defense to 0 for 1 turn. Effects carry forward on sweep. Increases time limit of orb movement by 7 seconds for 1 turn.
Cooldown: 15 Turns (Max: 20 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Hokuto Hyakuretsuken
Effect: Attacker type cards ATK x1.2, RCV x1.2. ATK x3.5 when attacking with 4 of following orb types: Fire, Water, Wood, Light & Dark.

Kenshiro is somewhat of a niche sub but still worth mention. He gives another option to address high defense enemies and the 7 second time extension can allow you to make the most of an available board. He's also another option to cover light on a TPA based team. That said, I wouldn't bring him along unless you have a specific use in mind for him (specific high defense enemy) or don't have any better options.

    Utility
    Crimson Lotus Mistress, Echidna
    Healer/Physical
    HP: 1277 (2267 @ +99)
    ATK: 1349 (1844 @ +99)
    RCV: 650 (947 @ +99)
Active: Delay 3 turns to all enemies.
Cooldown: 10 Turns (Max: 15 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Flamme Rouge
Effect: Deal ATK x5 damage to all enemies after every orbs elimination. Ignores enemy element, but can be reduced by enemy defense down to 0 damage.

The original utility sub, with the added benefit of being on color and farmable. Echidna isn't quite as strong as she once was with the advent of status shields and the general shift towards bursting through in one turn, but she can still be incredibly powerful in the right circumstances. She also brings a ton of RCV to the team, at the tradeoff of pitifully low HP. Still, definitely worth considering on a utility type team, or for a specific floor.

Art Goddess of Entertainment, Ame no Uzume
    God/Balanced
    HP: 3145 (4135 @ +99)
    ATK: 1325 (1820 @ +99)
    RCV: 501 (798 @ +99)
Active: All attribute cards RCV x1.5 for 4 turns. Bind recovery for 4 turns.
Cooldown: 8 Turns (Max: 11 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: Dance of Heavenly Worship
Effect: Fire attribute cards ATK x3.5 when HP is greater than 80%.

With her new ult evo, Ame becomes an amazing bind clear option for red teams, and has the added benefit of boosting RCV for 4 turns (which many Leilan teams will be sorely lacking). She also has great RCV and 1000 autoheal per turn in addition to it, and a row and skill boost awakening to round things out. For any dungeons with problematic binds, or where tanking is necessary but difficult, she'll be an amazing sub to have.

God of the Destroying Lance, Odin
    God/Attacker
    HP: 4189 (5179 @ +99)
    ATK: 2143 (2638 @ +99)
    RCV: 154 (451 @ +99)
Active: Inflict Dark damage equal to ATK x50 to all enemies. Affected by enemy element and defense. Inflict Poison damage equal to ATK x10 to all enemies every turn. Ignore enemy element and defense.
Cooldown: 15 Turns (Max: 20 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Song of Valhalla
Effect: Fire attribute & God type cards HP x1.5, ATK x2.5.

Let me say this up front: 4 row awakenings do not make Odin a standard row team sub. Yes, the damage is great but he doesn't offer much in terms of active and his RCV is terribly low. That said, if you need his skill boosts to have a skill up floor 1 or need his active for a specific purpose, the awakenings certainly don't hurt. Just make sure you're using him for the right reasons.

    Phoenix Rider, Valen
    Attacker/Healer
    HP: 2290 (3280 @ +99)
    ATK: 1508 (2003 @ +99)
    RCV: 353 (650 @ +99)
Active: 30% damage reduction for 4 turns.
Cooldown: 6 Turns (Max: 11 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: 蒼炎の天幻陣
Effect: Fire attribute cards ATK x2. Water attribute cards RCV x1.5. Fire, Water, Wood, Light & Dark attribute cards ATK x1.5 on the turn a skill is used. ( Multiple skills will not stack )

Valen is a great sub for either a row based or TPA team due to his active. 30% damage reduction for 4 turns on a 6 turn cooldown means you're able to significantly reduce the difficulty of stalling on certain enemies, especially if they're ones resisted by Leilan's LS. He also has great awakenings and decent RCV. And his active in addition to Mamiyas awakenings may make it possible to survive DQ Hera's preempt without having to sub in an off color sub or a less desirable one like Jotunn.

    Awoken Horus
    Devil/God
    HP: 3375 (4365 @ +99)
    ATK: 1324 (1819 @ +99)
    RCV: 570 (867 @ +99)
Active: Enhance Fire orbs. +6% per orb, up to +180% for full board. Increases time limit of orb movement by 1 second for 1 turn.
Cooldown: 4 Turns (Max: 8 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Blazing Moon Strike
Effect: ATK x4 when attacking with 4 of following orb types: Fire, Water, Wood, Light & Dark. ATK x0.5 for each additional orb type, up to ATK x4.5 for all 5 matches. God & Devil attribute cards ATK x1.5 on the turn a skill is used. ( Multiple skills will not stack )

The main reason you might consider Horus on an Awoken Leilan team is for his two skill bind resist awakenings in addition to his overall well rounded stats, awakenings, and a useful if not spectacular active. His active does synergize well with the red orb enhance awakenings that you'll have on the team with him. It is possible to get 10+ orb enhance awakenings with a reasonable Leilan team, which is equivalent to a permanent 1.5x active. If you're in a position where you need a sub with two skill bind resists to get yourself skill bind immune, he's probably the best option out there.

    Twilight Sorcerer, Chester
    Dragon/Devil
    HP: 2605 (3595 @ +99)
    ATK: 1410 (1905 @ +99)
    RCV: 172 (469 @ +99)
Active: Reduce 10% of all enemies' HP. Ignore enemy element and defense. Change Jammer & Poison orbs to Heart orbs.
Cooldown: 8 Turns (Max: 12 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Twilight Jigsaw Puzzle
Effect: Fire attribute cards ATK x2.5. 25% Fire damage reduction.

3 Skill bind resist awakenings, plus a decent active are Chesters main selling points. Not a great standard sub, but again, if you need to be skill bind immune and your standard team doesn't give you that, he's an option.

    TPA

    Restrained Dragon Hero, Liu Bei
    Dragon/Attacker
    HP: 2625 (3615 @ +99)
    ATK: 1705 (2200 @ +99)
    RCV: 353 (650 @ +99)
Active: Change Heart & Dark orbs to Wood orbs. Recover 3000 HP.
Cooldown: 10 Turns (Max: 15 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Enthusiastic Volunteer
Effect: Attacker type cards ATK x3, RCV x1.5 when HP is greater than 50%.

Up until very recently the highest atk triple TPA monster in the game, he also provides a productive orb change for a green focused team as well. RCV isn't terrible, and the red sub type means he'll make use of the red orbs generated by 7 Star. His high attack along with TPAs mean one or two of these will make short work of the biggest threat to an Awoken Leilan team, water type enemies. A few green TPA will put Liu Bei into the millions for damage fairly easily. Overall a very solid green TPA sub.

    Divine Creator of Order, Vishnu
    God/Attacker
    HP: 2765 (3755 @ +99)
    ATK: 1730 (2225 @ +99)
    RCV: 306 (603 @ +99)
Active: Increase skyfall chance of Wood orbs by 15% for 3 turns. Randomly spawn 2 Wood orbs from non Wood orbs.
Cooldown: 6 Turns (Max: 15 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Rod of Creation
Effect: All attribute cards ATK x2.5 when reaching 1 set of Wood combo. ATK x1 for each additional combo, up to ATK x3.5 when reaching 2 combos.

The new king of the TPA hill, Vishnu is capable of hitting extremely hard. His active is pretty RNG dependent so it's up to personal preference whether you value it or not. I've seen it cause 4 green skyfall combos on one turn, and I've also cleared nearly a full board and not had 3 green orbs drop in with it active, so its not as reliable as direct orb changers. The fact that his active now also generates 2 green orbs from non green orbs does mean that he can be used along with 7 star to strengthen a board with less green orbs than you'd like, and with the haste options available on the team, it is possible to loop his active even with just one Vishnu on the team, so that is something to consider.

    Genius Sleeping Dragon, Zhuge Liang
    God/Attacker
    HP: 2140 (3130 @ +99)
    ATK: 2014 (2509 @ +99)
    RCV: 414 (711 @ +99)
Active: Attacker type cards ATK x2 for 1 turn. Reduce enemies' defense by 50% for 1 turn. Effects carry forward on sweep.
Cooldown: 8 Turns (Max: 12 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Civilized Tactics
Effect: Wood attribute cards ATK x4 when HP is less than 80%.

GZL is a pretty ideal burst active option for a green TPA focused team. Most of the green TPA cards have attacker typing, as does Leilan herself, and GZL also provides two TPA himself in addition to his two skill boosts and a skill bind resist. He also has solid attack and pretty high RCV for an attacker type. He'll go great on a green TPA team when a big burst is needed.

    Thorned Goddess, Valkyrie Elize
    Healer/God
    HP: 2508 (3498 @ +99)
    ATK: 1389 (1884 @ +99)
    RCV: 656 (953 @ +99)
Active: Change Heart orbs to Wood orbs.
Cooldown: 5 Turns (Max: 11 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Free Bravery
Effect: Healer & God type cards ATK x3.

Another great Valk variant. Elize will also be getting attacker typing meaning she can take advantage of GZL or Shotel actives. She also gives great RCV which is often lacking on a green TPA based team. Overall a great sub option.

Soul-Judging God of Dark Riches, Osiris
    God/Balanced
    HP: 3090 (4080 @ +99)
    ATK: 1467 (1962 @ +99)
    RCV: 368 (665 @ +99)
Active: Change right-most column into Wood orbs.
Cooldown: 4 Turns (Max: 9 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: Monarchy of Dark Riches
Effect: Wood attribute cards HP x1.35, RCV x1.35. All attribute cards ATK x3.5 when reaching 6 combos or above.

Osiris is another great option that also can potentially strengthen a 7 star board while leaving it activatible. At 4 turns and guaranteeing at least one TPA his active is very solid, and the 4 enhanced green orb awakenings can add some significant damage to the team as well. I don't feel that these awakenings do too well on their own, but when added to TPA or row awakenings, they can provide a significant increase in damage.

    Discipline Committee Chair, Athena
    God/Attacker
    HP: 2410 (3400 @ +99)
    ATK: 1605 (2100 @ +99)
    RCV: 653 (950 @ +99)
Active: Enhance Wood & Light orbs. +6% per orb, up to +180% for full board.
Cooldown: 7 Turns (Max: 15 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: No Misbehaving!
Effect: Wood attribute cards HP x1.25, ATK x3.

Another solid wood TPA sub, this version of Athena brings 3 TPA awakenings, solid RCV, a light sub attribute and a skill boost and skill bind resist awakening as well. The only difference between the PAD Academy versions of Athena are typing (the stats don't even change) so for our purposes the attacker version is better if you plan on using any attacker type boosting actives.

    Awoken Parvati
    Balanced/Devil
    HP: 2843 (3833 @ +99)
    ATK: 1506 (2001 @ +99)
    RCV: 473 (770 @ +99)
Active: Change Water orbs to Heart orbs. Enhance Heart orbs. +6% per orb, up to +180% for full board.
Cooldown: 5 Turns (Max: 9 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: Golden God's Divine Power
Effect: Wood attribute cards ATK x2.5, RCV x1.5. ATK x2 when simultaneously clearing 5 connected Heart orbs.

Awoken Parvati continues to be a great heart maker for Leilan, and with 2 TPA and bind immunity that continues with the awoken variant. She also has solid overall stats including 473 RCV. Her only downside is that she isn't attacker type, so won't benefit from GZL or Shotel actives.

    Marine Rider, Bard Robin
    Attacker/Devil
    HP: 2641 (3631 @ +99)
    ATK: 1842 (2337 @ +99)
    RCV: 96 (393 @ +99)
Active: Change Water orbs to Wood orbs, Heart orbs to Water orbs.
Cooldown: 7 Turns (Max: 13 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: Cut off the Retreat
Effect: Attacker type cards ATK x2.5.

Robin is a TPA option if you lack better cards but poor overall stats and an active that removes hearts to create a color that isn't useful leave some to be desired.

    Gusting Prodigy, Sasuke
    Attacker/Devil
    HP: 2397 (3387 @ +99)
    ATK: 1886 (2381 @ +99)
    RCV: 216 (513 @ +99)
Active: Change Water orbs to Wood orbs.
Cooldown: 5 Turns (Max: 9 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: Secret of the Martial Arts
Effect: Attacker type cards HP x2, ATK x2.5.

A viable orb change active with attacker typing isn't bad, but only one TPA awakening means he won't be hitting nearly as hard as other cards with two or three TPA.

    Utility
    Awoken Ceres
    Balanced/Devil
    HP: 2874 (3864 @ +99)
    ATK: 1511 (2006 @ +99)
    RCV: 481 (778 @ +99)
Active: Recover 30% of max HP. Bind recovery for 3 turns.
Cooldown: 7 Turns (Max: 9 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: Spirit Tree's Divine Magic
Effect: Wood attribute & Balanced type cards ATK x2.5. 50% Light & Dark damage reduction.

Ceres is a great option for green to remove binds. Bind immunity with 3 turn bind recovery active on a 7 turn CD and a bind clear awakening as well means she helps prevent binds in multiple ways. She does also have high weighted stats as well.

    Endless Era Sorcerer, Wee Jas
    Dragon/Healer
    HP: 2213 (3203 @ +99)
    ATK: 1054 (1549 @ +99)
    RCV: 504 (801 @ +99)
Active: Delay 1 turn to all enemies. Change bottom-most row into Heart orbs.
Cooldown: 12 Turns (Max: 16 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: Wind Clock of the Endless Era
Effect: Wood attribute cards ATK x2.5. 25% Wood damage reduction.

Wee Jas serves as another option to address binds. He's bind immune, his active creates a row of hearts, and his bind clear awakening turns that into 3 turns of bind removal while also delaying the enemy for one turn. His overall stats aren't great, but he does provide quite a bit of RCV as well, so worth considering if binds are a concern.

    Creation Tree Spirit, Alraune
    Balanced
    HP: 2524 (3514 @ +99)
    ATK: 1099 (1594 @ +99)
    RCV: 518 (815 @ +99)
Active: Recover RCV x10 HP. Bind recovery for 3 turns.
Cooldown: 10 Turns (Max: 20 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Charm of Vigor
Effect: Balanced type cards HP x2, ATK x2.

A farmable bind clear option for Leilan that also covers both green and light. The downside is that she isn't bind immune herself so she'll only help against red binds, or type binds other than balanced. If you keep her limitations in mind however, she can be useful in certain scenarios.

    Awoken Susano no Mikoto
    Physical/Dragon
    HP: 4070 (5060 @ +99)
    ATK: 1286 (1781 @ +99)
    RCV: 298 (595 @ +99)
Active: 50% damage reduction for 3 turns. Reduces cooldown of other skills by 1 turn.
Cooldown: 11 Turns (Max: 15 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: 討滅の神念
Effect: All attribute cards ATK x3 when reaching Wood & Wood combos. 20% all damage reduction.

The new awoken Susano remains a solid Leilan sub. His active is reduced to 3 turns reduction instead of 5, but with a turn of haste added. He also now has two TPA awakenings allowing him to dish out better damage, particularly on a TPA focused team.

    Demon Slayer, Susano no Mikoto
    God/Attacker
    HP: 2200 (3190 @ +99)
    ATK: 1836 (2331 @ +99)
    RCV: 438 (735 @ +99)
Active: 50% damage reduction for 5 turns.
Cooldown: 15 Turns (Max: 20 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Evil-Vanquishing Faith
Effect: Attacker type cards ATK x3, RCV x1.35.

The benefit of the older G/L variant of Susano is a longer defensive active and the ability to cover your teams color requirements on his own. He also attacker type to benefit from GZL or Shotel, and provides more RCV and ATK than the awoken version, but with only one TPA awakening and much lower HP. Which version is best for you will depend on your team, but this older version is definitely worth considering.

    Miko Goddess of Protection, Kushinadahime
    God/Healer
    HP: 2805 (3795 @ +99)
    ATK: 1632 (2127 @ +99)
    RCV: 640 (937 @ +99)
Active: 75% damage reduction for 1 turn.
Cooldown: 8 Turns (Max: 11 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: 撫子の決心
Effect: ATK x1.5 at 3 combos. ATK x0.5 for each additional combo, up to ATK x10 at 20 combos. God attribute cards ATK x1.2 on the turn a skill is used. ( Multiple skills will not stack )

Kushi is an excellent sub for allowing you to take a big hit when needed, and on a short cooldown as well. She also has well rounded awakenings, including a skill bind resist and bind clear, and a new attacker type uvo adds a skill boost and allows her to work with attacker type teams. Her RCV is also very high.

    Shining Lance Wielder, Odin
    God/Balanced
    HP: 4299 (5289 @ +99)
    ATK: 1303 (1798 @ +99)
    RCV: 548 (845 @ +99)
Active: Inflict Light damage equal to ATK x50 to 1 enemy, and drain 10% of the damage you dealt. Affected by enemy element and defense.
Cooldown: 9 Turns (Max: 17 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Robe of Protection
Effect: 80% all damage reduction when HP is full.

Green Odin is a solid utility option to help mitigate incoming damage. He has great weighted stats, and two thousand autoheal per turn. His active can heal you for a fair amount in a pinch, and he also covers green and light and is unbindable. He won't contribute all that much offensively but can make it easier to stall on floors that would otherwise be troublesome.

    Light Lance God, Odin Dragon
    God/Dragon
    HP: 3600 (4590 @ +99)
    ATK: 1100 (1595 @ +99)
    RCV: 900 (1197 @ +99)
Active: Recover 50% of max HP. Bind recovery for 5 turns. Reduces cooldown of other skills by 1 turn.
Cooldown: 10 Turns (Max: 15 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Heavenly Gale
Effect: God type cards ATK x1.5, RCV x1.5. 80% all damage reduction when HP is full.

Basically everything Odin does, but better. Three thousand auto heal per turn, a better heal from his active which also removes 5 turns of bind and provides a turn of haste, 900(!) RCV, and again covers green and light. If you find yourself with a ton of monster points after buying the red Marionette and any of the other dragons you'd use as leads, he wouldn't be a bad investment. That said, I think most will find better use for their MP.

    Relentless Destroyer, Grand Tengu
    Physical/Devil
    HP: 4026 (5016 @ +99)
    ATK: 1317 (1812 @ +99)
    RCV: (297 @ +99)
Active: Switch places with leader card. Use again to switch back.
Cooldown: 4 Turns (Max: 16 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Perseverance
Effect: While your HP is 50% or above, a single hit that normally kills you will instead leave you with 1 HP. For the consecutive hits, this skill will only affect the first hit.

4 skill boosts make Tengu worth notice. If you find yourself facing a dungeon that requires skills up turn 1 and can't quite get there, Tengu may be worth adding to your team. His active and leaderskill may also come into play, though these days most huge hits are also multihit, so don't count on him helping you that way other than in very specific situations.

    Awoken Venus
    Devil/Healer
    HP: 2875 (3865 @ +99)
    ATK: 1336 (1831 @ +99)
    RCV: 595 (892 @ +99)
Active: Enhance Light orbs. +6% per orb, up to +180% for full board. Give 6 seconds to move orbs without triggering matches.
Cooldown: 5 Turns (Max: 9 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Bonding Divine Magic
Effect: Light attribute & Healer type cards ATK x2.5. 50% Water & Light damage reduction.

Awoken Venus is a very strong light row sub. 3 row awakenings plus an active that enhances light orbs and gives you 6 seconds of movement time all increase light row damage significantly. She also provides excellent RCV.

    Revered Monkey King, Sun Wukong
    God/Physical
    HP: 3328 (4318 @ +99)
    ATK: 1290 (1785 @ +99)
    RCV: 446 (743 @ +99)
Active: Change Water orbs to Light orbs, Dark orbs to Heart orbs.
Cooldown: 8 Turns (Max: 13 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Elixir of Vigor
Effect: ATK x3 when simultaneously clearing 6 connected Light orbs. ATK x0.5 for each additional orb, up to ATK x4 at 8 connected orb.

Wukong is a very solid overall package when it comes to light row. He provides a productive orb change, 2 row awakenings, a skill bind resist, 2 skill boosts, and god/physical typing has long been my favorite for well rounded stats.

    Awoken Thor
    Devil/Attacker
    HP: 3213 (4203 @ +99)
    ATK: 2050 (2545 @ +99)
    RCV: 184 (481 @ +99)
Active: Light attribute ATK x2 for 1 turn. Reduces cooldown of other skills by 1 turn.
Cooldown: 12 Turns (Max: 16 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: アースメギンの解放
Effect: Light attribute cards ATK x2.5, RCV x2.5.

Awoken Thor takes his previous form to the next level for row based teams. 3 rows and 2 skill bind resist and 2 skill boost awakenings are awesome, and the damage enhance from his active is now 2x instead of 1.5, though only for one turn. RCV isn't great however, so keep that in mind.

    Haughty Demon Lord, Baal
    Devil/Attacker
    HP: 2693 (3683 @ +99)
    ATK: 1726 (2221 @ +99)
    RCV: 360 (657 @ +99)
Active: Counter 3x damage taken with Light for 4 turns. Change Water orbs to Light orbs.
Cooldown: 8 Turns (Max: 18 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Ambitious Strike
Effect: Devil type cards HP x1.25. Devil type cards ATK x3.5 when HP is greater than 50%.

Now that the demon series active has been reduced down to 8 turns at max skill, it makes these guys somewhat viable if max skilled. Two skill boosts is also nice, and this guy actually provides pretty decent RCV considering his typing.

    Brilliant Sun Deity, Apollo
    God/Attacker
    HP: 2358 (3348 @ +99)
    ATK: 1723 (2218 @ +99)
    RCV: 466 (763 @ +99)
Active: Change Heart & Dark orbs to Light orbs.
Cooldown: 8 Turns (Max: 16 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Spirit of Flash
Effect: Light attribute cards HP x1.5, ATK x1.5, RCV x1.5.

The new split evo form for Apollo can do rows or TPA equally well. His active will give you a very light heavy board, and his ATK and RCV are very solid, though his HP is rather low in this form.

    TPA-
    divine law goddess, valkyrie rose
    Healer/God
    HP: 2308 (3298 @ +99)
    ATK: 1489 (1984 @ +99)
    RCV: 656 (953 @ +99)
Active: Change Heart orbs to Light orbs.
Cooldown: 5 Turns (Max: 11 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: innocent bravery
Effect: Healer & God type cards ATK x3.

A chibi that isn't worthless, chibi valk is actually extremely solid for light TPA teams. 3 TPA awakenings and a decent base attack mean she hits like a truck, and she brings a skill boost and skill bind resist to boot. She also brings 656 RCV to the team unegged, and almost a thousand with 99 RCV eggs. Her active is also great as a quick producer of light orbs.

    Flashing-Clawed CyberBeast, Leonis
    Machine/Attacker
    HP: 2714 (3704 @ +99)
    ATK: 1757 (2252 @ +99)
    RCV: 168 (465 @ +99)
Active: Change right-most column into Light orbs. Reduces cooldown of other skills by 1 turn.
Cooldown: 7 Turns (Max: 12 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Topaz Converter
Effect: Machine type cards ATK x3. Light attribute cards ATK x1.5 on the turn a skill is used. ( Multiple skills will not stack )

Bind immune with 2 TPA awakenings, and a relatively short CD active when max skilled that works well both for producing TPA attacks and in conjunction with 7 star to increase the concentration of light orbs. A little low on weighted stats however, especially when it comes to RCV.

    Flash Sorcerer, Rei Sirius
    God/Healer
    HP: 2133 (3123 @ +99)
    ATK: 1418 (1913 @ +99)
    RCV: 504 (801 @ +99)
Active: Change left-most column into Light orbs.
Cooldown: 5 Turns (Max: 9 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Magic Boost
Effect: All attribute cards ATK x3 on the turn a skill is used. ( Multiple skills will not stack )

Another of the Wizard series, and as with Laila, he isn't spectacular across the board, but what he does have is distributed well. Solid RCV and decent ATK (though HP is low), a 5 turn CD active which will always give you a TPA and can strengthen a 7 star board, 2 TPA and a skill bind resist for awakenings. Overall, a pretty decent sub.

Guardian of the Sacred City, Athena
    God/Attacker
    HP: 3018 (4008 @ +99)
    ATK: 2101 (2596 @ +99)
    RCV: (297 @ +99)
Active: Enhance Wood & Light orbs. +6% per orb, up to +180% for full board.
Cooldown: 7 Turns (Max: 15 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Hymn of Nike
Effect: God type cards HP x1.25, ATK x3.

The first card that really brought TPA teams into the current meta, Athena still has a place in light TPA teams. Very high ATK along with her 2 TPA awakenings and an active that works well with a light focused TPA team are all nice. The biggest downside to Athena is that she has 0 base RCV.

    Angel of Secret Destiny, Elia
    God/Healer
    HP: 2651 (3641 @ +99)
    ATK: 1523 (2018 @ +99)
    RCV: 614 (911 @ +99)
Active: Change Dark orbs to Light orbs. Reduces cooldown of other skills by 1 turn.
Cooldown: 7 Turns (Max: 22 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: 聖域への先導
Effect: God type cards ATK x3, RCV x1.5.

Elia is finally here, and she'll be terrific on many light TPA teams, and Awoken Leilan is no exception. An excellent active, great weighted stats with good distribution and two TPA along with a skill boost and skill bind resist make her an all around great card. The only downside is that she'll be extremely difficult to skill. As a rare invade with no uvo form means you'll either have to pii her, or grind her as a rare invade for 15 skillups.

    Crimson Speedster, The Flash
    Attacker
    HP: 1978 (2968 @ +99)
    ATK: 1616 (2111 @ +99)
    RCV: 373 (670 @ +99)
Active: Inflict damage equal to ATK x30 to 1 enemy. Affected by enemy element and defense. Attacker type cards ATK x2 for 1 turn.
Cooldown: 8 Turns (Max: 13 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Speed Force Aura
Effect: Attacker type cards HP x2, ATK x2.

A little niche, but a solid sub if you're building around light TPA attackers. An added benefit is that he's fairly easy to pull from the DC Collab REM. HP is low, but his other stats are decent.

    Utility-
Keeper of the Sacred Texts, Metatron
    God/Healer
    HP: 2454 (3444 @ +99)
    ATK: 1330 (1825 @ +99)
    RCV: 863 (1160 @ +99)
Active: Recover RCV x6 HP. Bind recovery for 3 turns.
Cooldown: 6 Turns (Max: 11 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Crusade Leader
Effect: Healer type cards HP x1.25. Healer type cards ATK x3.5 when HP is greater than 50%.

L Meta is a top notch utility sub. Unbindable with 3 turn bind recovery active on a 6 turn minimum cooldown means she will negate many of the binds you'll encounter. She also provides a bind clear awakening in the event that her active is down or 3 turns doesn't quite get you what you need and you have hearts available. Her two skill boost awakenings are also great, as is her massive 863 rcv. Her blue sub attribute is also nice to bait binds for a free turn against enemies like Hera Ur.

    Awoken Amaterasu Ohkami
    Healer/Physical
    HP: 3621 (4611 @ +99)
    ATK: 1011 (1506 @ +99)
    RCV: 652 (949 @ +99)
Active: Recover 40% of max HP. Bind recovery for 4 turns. Reduces cooldown of other skills by 1 turn.
Cooldown: 8 Turns (Max: 12 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: 日天の神癒
Effect: Healer attribute cards ATK x4 when HP is full. ATK x3 when HP is less than 99%. Heal RCV x10 as HP after every orbs elimination.

A solid alternative to Lmeta, awoken Ama provides a 4 turn bind recovery with haste on a slightly longer cooldown, and has better awakenings than Lmeta. Her RCV isn't quite as high though still solid at 652 and she has a TPA awakening that can be used to help bolster her relatively low attack.

    Space-Time Sorcerer, Wee Jas
    Dragon/Healer
    HP: 2213 (3203 @ +99)
    ATK: 1054 (1549 @ +99)
    RCV: 504 (801 @ +99)
Active: Delay 1 turn to all enemies. Change bottom-most row into Heart orbs.
Cooldown: 12 Turns (Max: 16 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Space-Time Light Clock
Effect: Light attribute cards ATK x2.5. 25% Light damage reduction.

Another option to deal with binds, though doing it a bit differently. Wee Jas is bind immune and his active creates a row of hearts that combined with his bind clear awakening will allow you to remove 3 turns of bind status. The 12 turn cooldown on his active and lower stats put him at a disadvantage compared to Lmeta or Ama above but he is still a viable option if you don't have them, and his one turn delay with his active is a nice added bonus.

    Scholarly God of Fortune, Ganesha
    God/Healer
    HP: 2425 (3415 @ +99)
    ATK: 1368 (1863 @ +99)
    RCV: 640 (937 @ +99)
Active: 100% damage reduction for 1 turn. Enhance Light orbs. +6% per orb, up to +180% for full board.
Cooldown: 15 Turns (Max: 24 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Mercantile Knowledge
Effect: Get x2 coins after a battle. ( Cannot switch place with subs )

Ganesha is pretty niche as a sub, but so good in his niche that he's worth mention. 100% damage reduction for one turn means you get a get out of jail free card for one massive attack. This has been used successfully with the Kalis in the Colosseum dungeon to bypass their 50% damage reduction skill, and could also be used against enemies with long timers followed by OHKO attacks or enemies that have a massive attack every X number of turns to give you some additional stalling room and/or preserve burst actives for later floors. The added component of light orb enhance also is nice. Two TPA, a skill bind resist and bind immunity are all solid in terms of awakenings and Ganesha has solid stats as well.

    Heaven-Shaking Thunderdragon, Indra
    Dragon/Balanced
    HP: 3450 (4440 @ +99)
    ATK: 1467 (1962 @ +99)
    RCV: 319 (616 @ +99)
Active: 75% damage reduction for 3 turns.
Cooldown: 15 Turns (Max: 20 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Thunderdragon's Secret Technique
Effect: Balanced & Dragon type cards ATK x3, RCV x1.35.

Indra makes for a very nice utility sub, both because of his damage reduction active, and because he provides 2 skill bind resist awakenings. Especially with the damage reduction built into Awoken Leilan's LS, damage reduction actives have their place in grindier utility teams. You can rely on your LS against red, light and green enemies and use an active like Indras against dark or blue enemies to get you through, then stall again on R/L/G to get his active back up or just clear through the rest of the dungeon if needed. Or you can use Indras active on top of Leilan's LS to tank massive damage from R/G/L enemies that would normally be intended to cause an immediate Game Over.

    Light Mech General, Sherospada
    Physical/Machine
    HP: 5135 (6125 @ +99)
    ATK: 1086 (1581 @ +99)
    RCV: 10 (307 @ +99)
Active: Reduce enemies' defense by 75% for 5 turns. Effects carry forward on sweep. 20% damage reduction for 5 turns.
Cooldown: 10 Turns (Max: 17 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Cuatro Charger
Effect: ATK x4 when attacking with 4 of following orb types: Fire, Water, Wood, Light, Dark & Heart. Machine type cards ATK x1.25, RCV x1.25.

A farmable alternative to Indra that can be used in much the same way, although the damage reduction is much less. He can also be used to break defense on high defense enemies, and has the added benefit of being unbindable. Sherospada also provides a massive 5135 HP, though only 1086 ATK and 10 RCV to balance this out.

Loving Heavenly Deities, Zeus & Hera
    God/Devil
    HP: 3965 (4955 @ +99)
    ATK: 1361 (1856 @ +99)
    RCV: 362 (659 @ +99)
Active: Reduce 45% of all enemies' HP. Ignore enemy element and defense.
Cooldown: 23 Turns (Max: 38 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    Leader Skill: Soul of Love
Effect: ATK x3.5 when HP is greater than 80%. ATK x3 when HP is greater than 50%. Increases time limit of orb movement by 1.5 seconds.

3 skill boosts and almost 800 weighted stats are nice, but the main reason you'll be including Zera in your team is the massive 45% gravity. With a rather long cooldown, Zeus & Hera are best used in a more utility focused team that can grind through most enemies but needs some help bursting through more dangerous blue or dark enemies. They can also be used to put an enemy into easy range of pushing them into their secondary attribute for easier tanking through Leilans leader skill, and can be used to bypass mechanics like resolve, Kali's damage shield in the Colosseum, etc. A very solid farmable sub for more utility focused teams.

    Green Gleaming Star Kirin, Sakuya
    God/Physical
    HP: 4028 (5018 @ +99)
    ATK: 1370 (1865 @ +99)
    RCV: 384 (681 @ +99)
Active: Reduce 20% of all enemies' HP. Ignore enemy element and defense.
Cooldown: 10 Turns (Max: 15 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: Sublime Light - Dance of the Four Origins
Effect: ATK x5 when attacking with Fire, Water, Wood & Light orb types at the same time. God attribute cards ATK x1.2 on the turn a skill is used. ( Multiple skills will not stack )

I'm just going to share this here and pretend the ridiculously overpowered L/B version isn't on the horizon because if you have that available you probably won't be using Leilan. Kirin provides a short CD gravity that can be used in all the ways Zera's can and also provides nice awakenings and over 800 weighted stats.

    Gleaming Kouryu Emperor, Fagan
    Dragon/Physical
    HP: 4005 (4995 @ +99)
    ATK: 1772 (2267 @ +99)
    RCV: 156 (453 @ +99)
Active: Reduce 20% of all enemies' HP. Ignore enemy element and defense.
Cooldown: 10 Turns (Max: 15 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: True Celestial Pole Star Dragon Fist
Effect: Physical & Dragon type cards ATK x4 when HP is full.

The farmable alternative to Kirin above, with the same active, and also packing over 800 weighted stats. Fagan also provides 2 skill boosts and a TPA, so his awakenings aren't terrible either. The main downside of Fagan vs Kirin is his low RCV.

    Awoken Ra
    Devil/God
    HP: 4355 (5345 @ +99)
    ATK: 1300 (1795 @ +99)
    RCV: 366 (663 @ +99)
Active: Deal 77777 damage to all enemies. Ignore enemy element and defense. Increases time limit of orb movement by 3 seconds for 1 turn.
Cooldown: 7 Turns (Max: 11 Turns)
    Awakenings: [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Leader Skill: The Sun's Blood Tide
Effect: ATK x5 when attacking with Fire, Water, Wood, Light & Dark orb types at the same time. God & Devil attribute cards ATK x2 on the turn a skill is used. ( Multiple skills will not stack )

Ra is pretty niche as a Leilan sub, but again, good enough at his niche to be worth a mention. 817 well distributed weighted stats make him one of the highest in the game. He's also bind immune, provides 2 skill boosts, a skill bind immunity and a time extend. But if you're bringing him along for Awoken Leilan it is probably because of his active. 77,777 unresisted damage on a short cooldown means he can easily bypass high defense enemies for you, and the 3 second time extension on his active can be used to maximize your available combos on a board or to counter movement time reduction skills from enemies.

    Notes and Strategy
Hera is one of the original descends. She's out of the descend rotation now, but can still be a challenge for newcomers. So many sub options for Suzaku are safe. The biggest concern with any build is getting through Neptune's armor, but with high atk wood subs (Parvati or Horai), even regular combo's can do it. Or you can bring def breaker like Droid or Earth Baron. You'll want to be able to meet the HP threshold for Minerva's hits. Lastly, a skilled Echinda is nice, but not a must. If you lack a gravity yourself, or didn't snag a Santa Hera (or 2), you can pair with a hypermax Zeus, but best if Echidna is skilled in that case. This descend can be done with completely farmable Suzaku teams.

Victory: I think several teams are viable. I used EtRE/Susano/Angelion/Valk. My Victory notes here.

This is another easy descend for Suzaku. Many teams will struggle with clearing high defenses, but Suzaku teams (RGL) is strong elementally against both Highlander and Berserk, not to mention Vamps in floor before. In general, you are going to blow through stg1 (RG Suzaku lead will reduce orb troll turn1), kill much of stg2 and perhaps leave 1 mask for stalling. Stg3 is a breeze, and you can snipe stall here if needed for gravity. Stg4 can be used as an additional stall or plow through it with light heavy combos. You'll want to be able to tank at least two synced vamps for safety. 7 stars on boss stage for the finish, and probably have Echidna up. Another early descend that can be done with farmable teams.

Another early descend, now also out of the descend rotation. When he first arrived folks were spending bucket loads of stones to get him. Thankfully we can expect to spend far fewer with a few key strategies.

Zeus is my biggest concern for Suzaku, since you need to skill up at least one Zeus to more easily tackle some of the other descends. Once again, JP vids show you best case scenario, with Kirin sub (Don't get me started.). But we've done a good job of theorycrafting noniap friendly ways to get your first Zeus. You'll want to look at win8x's clears in particular, he was able to 2 stone with minimal eggs with by pairing with hypermax Zeus friend and using heartmaker/heartbreaker to burst inside double delays. If you have a Santa Hera you are in good shape as well. It is possible to stall for Zeus's CD on Fl2, just very challenging, but possible. A few stones is a great investment for snagging a first zeus if you are going to run traditional Suzaku teams. A 5 stone or sub clear is well worth it! You'll eventually be able to 0 stone farm it no doubt.

Basic strategy is to snipe Fl1 and eek out as many turns here as you safely can. Otherwise, you'll just sweep. RL x RG pairing can snipe nicely here. Fl2 stall for gravity. Fl3 most likely sweep, last thing you want it to be bound the floor before Chimeras. On Chimeras, if you have double delay you can delay here, otherwise, you are probably going to have to use an active skill orb changer like Valk or combo heartmaker/heartbreaker to try to knock one out. If you can't meet the HP threshold of a rage hit, you'll want to bring along a damage reduction then too.

    Holy Goddess (Legend)

    Notes and Strategy
The strat here is very similar to Valk Mythical below, except everything hits less hard so it's easier.
st1 blast through (hope RNG doesn't troll you)
stg2 mystic mask first, stall on rest (easier the more HP you have)(Watch out you don't OHKO when you don't intend to)
stg3 MkIII doesn't hit as hard on Legend. But unless you have really high HP, you will still want to keep him above 50% and certainly 40%. Another place to stall here.
stg4. this is your uh oh moment, mini boss. Most strategies require a way to spike them down in 1 turn. Because there HP is 300k less than on Mythical and even at 35% most Suzaku teams will clear 12k HP, you should be able to use EtRE to knock one out, and stall again for all skills up on the second.
stg5. Gravities and 7 star help. If you brought Suzaku Standard Double Gravity Build, with Zeus and Fagan, you will have brought Valk to 1.4M HP. With 4 turns on EtRE, and two 7 stars you should be fine. Beware: if you hit her below 50% and don't OHKO, she will resurrect before shield, and then you're in trouble.

New Suzaku players should just run Legend and hope for the drop. Once you get your first Valk, many other things like Zeus descend and Hera descend are much much easier. If you lack Santa Hera and don't have Zeus yet, pair with a Zeus friend.

    Notes and Strategy
Some brief notes to get you started:
It's not going to be easy. On Mythical: Basic outlines of any strategy will look something like:
st1 blast through (hope RNG doesn't troll you)
stg2 mystic mask first, stall on rest (easier the more HP you have)(Watch out you don't OHKO when you don't intend to)
stg3 MkIII hits hard, but only every 3 turns. Once you get him below a certain percentage you will have to finish him fast unless you bring Indra. I've seen Susano used here too, which gives you more turns to spike him down.
stg4. this is your uh oh moment, mini boss. Most strategies require a way to spike them down in 1 turn. Damage reduction and what not aren't going to do you any good. Using 1 7 star here is one possible way. Would probably need to 8combo minimum to clear their HP.
stg5. Gravities and 7 star help. If you were able to stall, Zeus here really helps knock her HP down. Beware: if you hit her below 50% and don't OHKO, she will resurrect before shield, and then you're in trouble. So, with Suzaku, unless you go with double gravity, probably best to save EtRE for Valk.

    Goemon (Legend)

    パズドラ攻略
    EtRE/Uriel/Valk/Zeus

    Notes and Strategy

R/G makes Goemon turn 1 less of a pain and helps increase your chances of activation.

Most teams will just sweep Fl.1, but R/G x R/L might be able to get away with 3.5x activation and try to eek out a few turns for an unskilled gravity. Riskier, but possible.

Fls2-3 are stalling floors. Some strats will activate and sweep all but water ninja and play the stall/rage increase etc tactic to eek a few more turns.

Mitsuki: Manageable above 50%, starts to hit harder below that. Higher HP and RCV teams will more easily be able to survive.

Goemon: With no preemptive, you can delay and if you have gravities and they are up, Suzaku will be able to finish in 4 turns. Most teams though will need to bring reduction to tank Fireworks. Asgard/Susano will put that HP barrier at 10126. One strat will be to tank his hits and bind as long as possible before delaying and using 7 stars for the finish.

Victory: Legend 0 stone clear. Can probably sub Cosmo Venus for Zeus for added burst damage, unless gravity skilled. My Victory notes here.

    Notes and Strategy

Mythical is well-within the range of Suzaku teams that are leveled and have a skilled Zeus, not necessarily max skilled, but enough to make stalling minimally needed.

Fl.1 remains a toss up with RNG for R/L Suzaku. R/G has the advantage here in being able to activate at higher rates. Most teams will sweep.

Fls.2-3 are potential stall floors. Most teams will still want to activate and hopefully you get one mid water ninja to stall on after the activation. Utilizing Mid Ninjas rage <25% to eek out extra turns. Higher HP and RCV teams will be able to more easily heal and stall effectively here.

Mitsuki: She hits harder below the 50% marker and will be more problematic for teams that are lacking HP and RCV. Various strategies can be used on her if you need to stall a few more turns for gravities. Example. whittle her down as long as you can then delay, then utilize Susano/Asgard etc to enter Goemon and tank Fireworks/binds until Echidna is up again.

Goemon: at 3.5M HP this is not out of reach for several Suzaku builds. Low +egg traditional gravity builds can utilize Zeus, delay, 7 stars and finish. Izanagi burst teams can utilize Kirin/Fagan, delay, and then 7 star izanagi and burst for the finish. Balanced builds R/G leads might be able to do something similar with Crab/Woodsie. Burst builds on typing just need to calc and make sure things are stable getting there. Row Teams can probably OHKO with Fire type atk increase and rows. As always, individual teams will need to calc their burst on the final floor and plan accordingly.

New Suzaku players can continue to use various farmable team strategies to get your first Goemon (a powerful early KoG farm lead). Pairing with Zeus is still a possibility if you lack your own gravity, just be sure you have the RCV or delays to reach to full health again safely.

    Notes and Strategy
So, with Hera-Is, I'm not as concerned with farming Mythical, because you can skill her up by easily farming Hera, and Suzaku has many different teams that can work on Hera. Gravity isn't needed for Legend, but it always helps. There are more teams that are viable here, but I've tried to pick the best non-uber max teams for Legend I could find that show a little variety in sub options and strats. There are many more vids of JP players on Legend, but the above should suffice.

For Legend, you have more strategies open for Suzaku teams, although in both cases, you are in trouble right off the bat if you go in thinking a heart-maker will do you any good on stg1, since Frosty will bind Parvati, and both Frosty and Devil will bind Angelion. That said, good thing on Legend they don't hit all that hard, so you can stall 10 turns for EtRE, and repeat; and, they won't bind every turn all the time (I've heard it is 3 binds max, but I cannot confirm this). If you get Blue Sky on stg2, you might be able to get a few more turns but watch HP below 50%, if you get the dark one, OHKO. Stg3 is another one where you just want to OHKO. Stg4 is another chance to eek out a few turns, but if gathers energy, better finish him. Stg4 is usually 3-4 turns depending upon the timer, so you need to finish either one you get before the hit the second time. For Hera-Is herself, EtRE, gravity if you stalled for Zeus, and 7 stars will do the job. If you brought an orb changer, Valk or CuChu, use their 1 turn burst strategically and you should be fine, her HP is only 1.8M. Unless you bring a damage reduction to try to survive through Ice Coffin, I would use EtRE and just blast through to the finish on Legend.

    Notes and Strategy
You need a high lvl Suzaku team with at least one high atk wood sub to take on Hera-Is Mythical, oh and +eggs never hurt. As with any Mythical dungeon, with Suzaku, you will want to be doing at minimum 7 combos in regular turns where you need to deal damage and more on the 7 stars or mini-bursts. It is critical with Hera-Is that you can clear as many combos as possible without activating the multiplier so you can get hearts to drop; this is especially important for Stg 2 and 4 if you need to stall more there. Lastly, with her HP so high, you need to bring a Gravity, Zeus is preferred, and max skilled the better, Kirin/Fagan might work too.

Stg1 Demons: Most strats will target Helldark first, and try to stall on Frosty, surviving and making do if he binds Parvati. He doesn't hit too too hard, but enough that stalling can be dicey. If you are going to stall for unskilled Zeus, you'll as many turns as you can get.
Stg2 is another chance to stall but only if you get the Blue Skydragon, since he only hits hard after 50% and gives you two turns to heal in between.
Stg3 is trouble on mythical. Hellheim hits hard enough to wipe out most Suzaku teams even with a few +eggs on them, so if he comes with a 1 turn timer, you might need to use EtRE here.
Stg4 Mech is another chance to stall. As with Legend, though, if he uses gathering, you must take him out before he hits you.
Stg5 is the same do or die, you will get 3-4 turns depending upon whether they start at 1 turn timers or 2 turns. If you have Parvati or Angelion and Valk or CuChu, now might be one time to use them if the board is bad.
Stg6. the most stable teams will use EtRE/Zeus off the bat. You need gravity here because her HP is too high for 4 turns with EtRE. Wood heavy teams will do better. If you bring Susano, it can be dicey to go that strategy (see thithithi3's vid above), but watch your HP, you will need at least 15K HP to survive her Freeze Blast. With Wood heavy teams you might be weak at stg5 if you get CDD, so EtRE might be needed here, and then again after Susano on Hera-Is. Otherwise, after delay and gravity, use both 7 stars, 7 combo minimum, the more the better as always, and use your orb changer if you brought one strategically, esp if you brought CuChu.

There is probably a reason only TGP and thithithi3 have videos of her clearing Satan. 6M+ HP is not easy to overcome for 12.25 burst, but with pesky heart orbs out of the way, you should be making 7+ combos every turn at min. I think a gravity is a must. Still not sure if you can stall for an unskilled Zeus...

    Skilled heartmakers are a blessing.

Having run this, I know now that he uses World's End every third turn. So after Demon's Shield, you have two turns of regular 6k atk, and then World's End, then another two turns of reg. atk, then World's End etc. The only change to this is after the first World's End, if you have a reduction shield up, he will cast dispel and make it go away, so you have an extra turn there where he doesn't hit you.

Safest newcomer teams will have 16177 HP to tank a Kraken hit or 17972 for synced hits.

Krakens: Get it down to one quick, then use heartmakers to stall for gravity if needed.
Cerberus: Need to KO before he does so to you.
Lilith: another floor to clear asap.
Vamps: your last spot to stall. Snipe to one or two, and if you can tank synced hits from two you are in good shape to stall here.
Hades: utilize his long timer to natural stall here. But be sure to clear him before his KO hit and also be sure to go in to Satan at or near max HP in case you need a few more turns after his preemptive.
Satan: delay gravity and 7 stars, eek out as many combos as possible per turn. A light heavy team is a great plus.

Victory: I tried with EtRE/Indra/Angelion/Zeus and spent 3 stones. I still think this is a 0 stone build as long as you max level all subs, and gets easier as you skill up Zeus. My Victory notes here.

    Notes and Strategy
A tough early descend. A slightly fire heavy team can be nice here, esp turn 1.

Fl1 Highlander/Berserk: you want to KO Highlander turn1, which can be hard to RL Suzaku since you are vulnerable to orb troll upon entering. You want at least 2x3 fire orbs and a good 7-8 combo to do this safely. A non fire heartmaker is great to stall through Berserk's bind. Or a bind clear or some such. Use Ark's calculator to determine the combo you need to Ko Highlander. If you need, bring a teams with SBs to get a 5 turn CD orb changer up turn1.

Fl2: Griffin you'll want to watch his preemptive but otherwise clear fast.
Fl3: Archangel, utilize her heal to your advantage to stall for gravity if needed but otherwise don't linger too long unless you can do so safely.
Fl4 Hera: A real miniboss test. If you are fire strong, and have eggs, you can probably just delay and use Valk or some such to deal with her quickly after hitting her a few natural turns. Be sure to have HP going into Dios's preemptive.
Fl5 Dios: Delay gravity and 7 stars should do the trick since your Suzaku's are elementally strong to Dios. Egged fire heavy teams can probably just use 7 stars here opening a sub slot to deal with Hera.

Fail: I went in with a weak Suzaku, first descend I tried with Suzaku, EtRE/Susano/Angelion/Zeus, fail notes here: http://www.puzzleanddragonsforum.com/showthread.php?tid=17031&pid=149092#pid149092

    Notes and Strategy
Another tough early descend for Suzaku players. This will definitely be a test. But overall, good team synergy really pays off on short descends.

Fl1: Most teams will just KO the W/R Ogre and stall through the bind of the water one. Here is where you stall for gravity if needed.
Fl2: Watch preemptive, and burst KO...otherwise, he hits hard enough below his Rage zone to cause significant trouble. If you stalled successfully on Fl1, safe strategy will be to just use Echidna here to finish him safely rather than risk hitting him below 50% and get KO'd.
Fl3: deceptively tough. Watch your team RCV here, since you want to be able to heal every turn while pinging him, so be sure to clear the board. If you have a lazer active like Ra, you can bring him, just make sure the rest of your team is strong enough to compensate for the one time use of that card here.
Fl4 Minerva: Watch preemptive, but otherwise above 50% she's not so bad. Below 50% watch out. If Echidna is back up from Fl2, just use her again here since Ur puts up shield.
Fl5 Hera-Ur: So tough. A card like LMeta can give an extra turn here as she does elsewhere in the dungeon too. That can be nice...But otherwise, just gravity and 7 stars for the finish since her HP isn't all the high. Burst teams will do well here to just burst her like Izanagi or rowzaku can just burst here as well. Traditional teams will probably still need gravity, 7 star to knock her below 25% and then finish with second 7 star.

    Notes and Strategy
Stg1 is an obvious blast through before he hits you.
Stg2: CuChu is challenging. Below 50% things get worse and worse every other turn, so that seems like a race to finish him off before a second -99% HP comes along. Depending upon how things have gone prior to 50% HP, you might have EtRE up by then to save you if you don't bring a heart maker along. Rowzaku teams can probably burst through the defense.
Stg3: Tama-bomb stall as much as you can and set-up a massive combo. EtRE can be used here successfully to finish Sieg before he ever hits you. One strat is to use Suzaku after the first big combo and get him below 50%, since you will most likely only have one wood sub, you are weak against Water. Alternatively, you can use Susano/Asgard.
Athena: You should be able to survive her attacks and heal until she is below 50%. Susano can help now and allows you to go for Suzaku's 7 star and prioritize fire combos as best you can for maximum damage. Most teams go fire heavy, and older versions ran Fire enhance here (horus/phoenix/Hera-ur) to really max fire damage. Depending upon the number of combos and team stats, this could easily OHKO her at this point. If you went with the Suzaku strat on Sieg, the second Suzaku should be up by now if you need a second 7 start combo. Gravity/7star just above 50% is another good strategy.
