    Sumire is a 5 star Blue GFE Exclusive. She is one of the JP Callers. With her Leader skill she has one of the best mechanics (even if pretty tedious) currently in the game: Making a cross (a + shape) with exactly 5 Hearts grants her a 50% shield and a 1.5x multiplier. Combined with the main part of her LS, a 5x multiplier for matching 5 orbs with an enhanced one in the match, gives her a 7.5x multiplier which is pretty high. Double Leads will thus result in a 75% shield (Roughly a 4x HP and RCV multiplier!) and 56.25x Multiplier on full activation.

    Pros and Cons

    Pros
    -Tank Leader, boasts 4x HP and RCV on demand as long as you have 5 hearts on the board
    -Dupes of the leader can be used for a System team
    -High Multiplier
    -Can easily beat low/mid-endgame content
    -High HP pool
    -Crosses easily make up for possible low RCV
    -Can stack OE, TPAs or Rows on the team for more damage
    -Mild Damage Control
    -access to powerful on-color utility cards (AIsis, AOrochi, etc.)
    -high number of + water orb awakenings compensate damage for difficulty of implementing rows/TPA's in addition to multiplier conditions
    +Best Smile in the game, Top-Tier Waifu

    Cons
    -Despite having an High multiplier, Her damage is somewhat Low.
    -Highly REM heavy Team compositions
    -Crosses take time to master, and even then are still damm annoying
    -Heart Cascades are possible but very hard
    -HIGHLY susceptible to Combo Shields
    -Very few Blue subs give Blue+Heart Orb Convert
    -Most (Blue main attribute) board converters are hard to get
    -susceptible to binds; bind clear sub may be a necessity
    -due to nature of leader skill to maximize multiplier via heart cross and 5 match oe water, it is *difficult* to implement rows and/or TPA's for additional damage
    -maximum damage heavily suffers if no + water orbs exist in the board

    The obvious choice. Double Sumire is the most balanced of all her pairings, and perhaps the most effective.

    Looking for power? You Yu is the way to go. With the 5o1e part of the LSs common to both, it is easy to pair Sumire with YY for when you need power, or for tournaments where you ideally want to be fast and crosses arent exactly what you want to do. Even for normal gameplay, Sumire/YY is a pretty valid pairing as it gives a lot of damage in exchange for your shield being only 50%. (Which is still better than double 35% leads anyway)

    A weird pairing, but still works pretty smooth. You could consider this pairing as the "damage control" pairing: The Byr/Sumire pairing has perhaps the most effective damage scaling, allowing for a scaling of 5x/10.5x(11.5x)/52.5x(57.75x), effective for damage control against Parv/Sopdet and the likes.

    The best sub for the waifu is the waifu herself! With amazing spot on awakenings, dupe sumires are always a great addiction to her team, also allowing for an easier flow of actives thanks to the haste Sumires have. Her short-ish CD also allows for her to use inherited skills, wheter it be Orb Changes or Bursts... Or whatever you may need.

    Not as amazing as Andromeda, but still an amazing sub for Row teams and still valid if you dont have anything else. If going for Heavy rows on your team Blonia and Gabriel are an Amazing core. You can also inherit him on something with better awakenings if his awakes "aint your jam".

    A decent farmable option with lacking but spot-on awakenings. A lack of SB/SBR though makes him a less reliable option, as well as problematic skillups.
    The only real reason to use him though is if you have an Awoken Karin to pair with.

    Probably the best farmable option disponible to Sumire. Its Active is basically a sumire active but with more orbs and no haste. Orb locking can also come in handy for bosses that keep orbchanging blue/hearts away, or eventually even for blind. Sadly the awakenings are kind of lacking but decent enough for a farmable.

    Sitri is perhaps the best Water only orb changer hands down for Sumire. She has amazing awakenings that synergize fabolously with the team. Her unique orbchange can make a 2/3 Blue/heart board with all of the norns, (Yes. Even Verdandi.) making her an amazing sub for a Sumire team.

    Let's be real, 5 of her with some good inheritances are the optimal team, but I am really excited to see what the optimal teams for less Sumires are :)

    Yay new Sumire guide!

    Just some thoughts on subs from me experimenting with Sumire on my alt and my fiance's account...

    Awoken Hermes > Hermes due to skyfall buff and OE. I think he is a great sub even though he breaks hearts b/c sometimes you don't need the heart cross to kill things anyways. I think Awoken Hermes is also > Scheat for the more cooperative awakenings and higher Attack. But if you have Blue Eschamali somehow she is better than them both. Her awakenings alone are enough to make her a star sub.
    Skuld + Reincarnated Fenrir Knight = boss. Reincarnation Fenrir is really awesome guys. Only con is that Skuld is a 6* GFE
    Multiple Sumire = even more boss. I use three Sumire on my alt (for a total of 4 Sumire) and two sumire on my fiance's account (for a total of 3) and the haste plus their active is great. I mean really, it's awesome. Anyone with multiple Sumire should go ahead and invest in at least two.
    Whenever Sitri is released she will be basically a better Awoken Hermes because she double converts and does not break hearts. Plus she is a 5* GFE so she will not be as agonizingly rare (rare enough though).
    Andromeda is MVP for bind-riddled dungeons, however she herself is susceptible to binds. People looking for a true bind clear should look to subs like Isis, Snow White, Sadalmelik, and Beach Metatron as situational options. Or BMyr if you are lucky/had the MP. Aside from that Andromeda is still awesome!
    Gabriel is a poor man's Andromeda. Still works wonderfully.
    Awoken Sun Quan and Awoken I&I are great for damage enhance or as inherits. There are times when Sumire needs the damage, plus SQ has delay packed in. On that note, Orochi is great situational sub, I use him a ton.
    Nut is amazing. Nuff said. Short cooldown = inherit whatever you want. Lots of OE and TPA, lots of HP. Similarly Rukia can be an okay sub.
    For similar reasons Isis is great too but I already mentioned her earlier. Inherit something like LMeta onto her or something else!
    Ryune + Hatsume core is also great. You don't have much OE between them and Hatsume is low HP but she has two killer awakenings which means she can dish out a lot of damage to quite a few different kinds of bosses. You can also easily inherit something onto Hatsume.
    Alrescha is an amazing sub because she gets rid of jammers and poison. Also she has 9 awakenings in her sub form ultimate evolution among which are very valuable SB's and OE and also god killer. A great answer to dungeons riddled with jammers/poisons, and just good overall.
    Blue Odin can enhance your board and is a great stat/awakening stick other than that he's not necessary at all, you could inherit his active onto someone though.
    Awoken Neptune/Neptune Dragon are good for rare instances where you need poison.
    You Yu is a lower tier sub for Sumire (Sumire is a top tier sub for YY though) his awakenings are very good for Sumire and his attack is ridiculous so there is that.

    Navi is also a killer sub, she has a low CD, plus 3 rows, 3 heart enhances, and 2 skill boost. I have urd inheritted onto her.

    It's not in the guide section - it turned more into a blog for blue leads and lives in that section of the site. It's pretty dead.

    She's great because with just a couple hastes you can have her skyfall up permanently. On a team where both leads have haste, that's awesome.

    I can advocate for the Game8 setup. Sumire/Sumire/Sumire/Xpaulina/A. Isis. I love this team. Isis gives me a shield when I don't have hearts. Xpaulina gives me + orbs after multiple actives. I've beaten a ton of new content with this. I use Skuld when I don't need the extra shield or bind clear.
