The fort is at the southernmost point of East Limgrave overlooking the sea. Triggering this Ash of War skill causes you to coat your blade in your own blood and fire a blood-bladed projectile.

It adds range to regular bleed builds, though you’ll deal damage to yourself as a consequence so should be used with this in mind. A recent patch has made this less powerful, but it’s still a viable option and can be picked up very early on. Best Spirit Ashes – After experimenting with different Spirit Ashes, I found that using the Mimic Tear Ashes made boss battles and tricky areas a lot easier. Therefore, I definitely recommend levelling up the Mimic Tear Ashes to +10 via Spirit Tuning,

• Another cool thing about it is that it uses a bit of your HP to summon instead of FP so if you’re looking to keep your FP topped-up and don’t mind losing a little health, it’ll help with that.
• The downside is that if your character isn’t very good, a clone of it obviously won’t be good either.
• In that case, I recommend using Black Knife Tiche or Dung Eater Puppet if you have them as they can be quite relentless and powerful.

Other great choices include Stormhawk Deenh as it occasionally buffs your attack power and Jarwight Puppet which will throw all sorts of pots at enemies. 😊

Let’s say you acquire the Ash of War: Holy Ground, either because you’re the Prophet Class or you beat the Tree Sentinel and take it off them. You can remove it from any shield at a Site of Grace and put it on any other one. When you do, it’ll boost Holy Damage, increase certain stats, but penalise others, including physical damage negation.

It also takes away the shield’s specific skill – likely the Parry, if it’s a standard shield – and replaces it with a unique skill called Holy Ground, which allows you to create a circle in which you and all allies regenerate health. Just to clarify, it’s important not to confuse Ashes of War with Spirit Ashes, the Elden Ring summons items that create NPC allies and can be bought from various merchants or found.

Ashes of War can only be equipped on one weapon at a time, Should you want to move this Ash to a different weapon, unequip the Ash, and it will be available for the next weapon. This Ash of War can only be applied to small and medium shields that can normally parry.

This action acts very similarly to a usual parry at a close range. What makes this is its arching golden light that extends the range of your parry ability, While the range isn’t moderate, it helps you keep your distance from your enemy while trying to open them up to attack. This parry has the same effect of stunning and opening your enemy up for a critical hit for both ranged and up close connections.
