How much does the weed farm make in GTA 5?

GTA Online: Bikers – Profiting From Businesses has been owning GTA press ever since it launched a littler over a week ago, and with reason. The massive update added a host of new content to Online, including new vehicles, missions and a new business-owning mechanic opening up new opportunities to make cash. How To Get A Weed Farm Gta 5 Businesses offer long-term passive income, which is why their efficiency hadn’t been accurately gauged earlier. Now that players have had a week to track their profits and determine which of the new GTA Online businesses are the best investment, guides have been popping up all around regarding maximum efficiency.

  1. In total, there are five types of business that your character can own, and you have the chance to own one of each type simultaneously.
  2. That said, players have already reported management turning into a hassle at just four, so while you can own all five, it doesn’t mean that’s the best approach (unless you take a page from the book of real world companies, and hire people to play for you while you’re doing something else).

The businesses include document forgery, money laundering, cocaine labs, meth labs and marijuana farms. Each of them have a different rate of production and a different profit margin, and the cost of supplies are different as well. That said, we suggested in our Money Making Guide to steal supplies instead of buying them, however this is only viable with 1-2, maybe 3 businesses max.

  • The Meth and Cocaine labs take the longest time to produce goods, however they have pretty high payouts, coming in at around $GTA 420-430k every 5 hours.
  • The document forgery and weed farm businesses bring up the rear with a ~130k payout.
  • It’s smaller than the hard drug labs, but it’s ready sooner.
  • In the mid range we have money laundering, giving players a decent balance of speed and profit.

As it stands, coupled with the hybrid crate method, the high-end businesses are the best in the long term, however they require a large investment, as upgrades are an absolute necessity unless you plan on bleeding cash through your little enterprise.

The Meth and Cocaine labs take a good long while to make a return on investment, however once they do, the profits will be glorious, and you can go on playing other profitable missions in GTA Online in the meantime. The best thing about businesses is that they keep ticking down on the timer in the background even when you’re not in an MC or busy doing other activities like Heists or running crates as a CEO.

This way the high-end businesses offer plenty of time in between runs to do profitable missions – in essence, you’ll be making money while you make money. However, you should be prepared for a bit of the fun getting drained from the game this way. If you’ve noticed that this article reads more like a corporate puff piece instead of something about a video game, you’ll be guaranteed to feel like running a GTA Online business is actual work.

You’ll need to steal or buy the supplies, and come back every 5 hours to play through a small sell mission. On the flip-side, the smaller businesses are hardly a waste of cash, especially if you’re not particularly wealthy to begin with. The weed farm, for example, will provide a return on investment really quickly, and even if the frequent payouts basically amount to pocket change in the GTA economy (oh god I can feel the fun factor fading), they’ll add up over time and at least cover the costs of things like ammo and consumables, which are quite critical for lower-level players without an 8 figure in-game bank account.

Since players at this stage will be spending their time with shorter activities anyway, not longer missions like crate-running in bulk or a full Heist, they’ll be able to slot in the business resupply and selling runs to their itinerary (this is getting worse) with ease.

We mentioned investing in upgrades, which is crucial unless you want to constantly trot back to your business to repel a raid. If a raid is successful, you’ll lose all of your supplies and product in the business. That said, once you buy an upgrade, it’s permanently yours just like the business itself.

This makes upgrades a one-time but necessary investment (next time you play, wear business causal). Upgrades will not only boost the speed and return on your supplies, but they’ll decrease the frequency of raids and make your NPC guards more proficient at protecting your seedy source of income.

  • If you upgrade your businesses, you may be letting more cash out of your hands in the beginning, but you’ll turn a profit quicker.
  • Depending on how much time you’re prepared to dump into business management, we suggest you plan ahead as to how many of these things you’ll take on.
  • If you can’t play that much or are rolling solo, we recommend only buying one or two businesses, and preferably the Meth and Coke labs, lest you find yourself only dealing with these during your playtime and nothing else.

We’ve put together an in-depth guide and chart dealing with Bikers Businesses and the best way to earn GTA$ with them, Have you already dived into GTA Online’s new businesses? Which ones do you own? : GTA Online: Bikers – Profiting From Businesses

How To Get A Weed Farm Gta 5 Cannabis stores along Queen Street West, in Toronto, last month. By Photographs by Ian Willms Published April 18, 2022 Updated April 19, 2022 TORONTO — If you are hankering for a government-sanctioned joint, then you have come to the right city. The options along Queen Street West are bountiful.

You could start at Toronto Cannabis Authority, with a sign outside suggesting customers “warm up with hot cannabis infused beverages.” You could take a few steps down the sidewalk and enter Friendly Stranger, which trades on nostalgia for tokers who picked up their first bong here, long before cannabis was legalized three and a half years ago.

Or you could dash across the street to the Hunny Pot, which in 2019, when it became the city’s first legal cannabis store and saw an overnight line of customers. And that’s just in 1,000 square feet. Walk two minutes and three more options appear. “There’s a standing joke in Toronto that dispensaries are sprinkled around like parsley.

  1. They are everywhere,” said Dalandrea Adams, a budtender standing behind the long glass display counter — revealing pipes, grinders and rollers — inside Friendly Stranger.
  2. Which is convenient, if you are a pothead.” As Toronto slowly comes back to life after two years of repeated lockdowns and closures, the wreckage of the pandemic is surfacing like cigarette butts in melted snow drifts.

Along the city’s many neighborhood main streets, “For lease” signs hang in dusty windows. Office towers in the city’s dense core remain, The obvious exception: cannabis shops, which the provincial government permitted by emergency order to keep operating during the pandemic.

Just 12 existed in the sprawling city of 2.8 million back in March 2020. Today, 430 compete for customers, with another 88 in the approval process, even as some struggle to stay open amid the stiff competition. For years, Queen Street West has been known as the city’s pulsing heart for music, art and street fashion.

Dalandrea Adams, who works at a cannabis store on Queen Street West. Lately, just about the only thing that has opened here in the many vacancies left by Covid is pot shops. “It’s the wild, wild West,” said Kristyn Wong-Tam, a city councilor who supported the legalization of cannabis but has called for a moratorium on new shops in the city.

“Never at any community meeting has anyone said, ‘Our neighborhood is not complete without a pot shop,'” she said. “But now, in some places, you can’t get groceries but you can get weed.” Nowhere is that more apparent than along Queen Street West. For years, the downtown road has been known as the city’s pulsing heart for music, art and street fashion.

Starting at the Court of Appeal, it stretches past a jazz hall, restaurants and retail stores selling Doc Martens and sunglasses — all jumbled together in tight storefronts. There’s an old instrument shop where Bruce Cockburn picked up guitars, and music venues where the classic Canadian band Blue Rodeo and international stars like the South African musician Hugh Masekela played on Friday nights.

  • Over the past two decades, the street has gentrified and lost much of its grit — a Lululemon replaced the world-music BamBoo club and many of the vintage clothing stores have been supplanted by chains.
  • If only through nostalgia, the strip still retains its artsy, hipster reputation.
  • But lately, just about the only thing that has opened here is pot shops: There are 13 along a 1.4 kilometer drag.

“It’s like, ‘Oh look, another pot store, next to the pot store, across from the pot store,'” said Teddy Fury, who has been serving beers on the street for 35 years now at the Horseshoe Tavern. The shops are just the latest trend he’s seen and an occupied store is better than an empty one, he said.

  • But it does raise an obvious question: “How stoned are people getting?” Teddy Fury counting stock before his shift at the Horseshoe Tavern, a historic bar and music venue on Queen Street West.
  • One large problem for store owners has been an inability to differentiate their product from other marijuana shops.

The reasons for the sudden proliferation across the city include loosening license restrictions, a surge in available storefront space and the government’s decision to allow cannabis shops to operate during lockdowns. While Toronto restaurants were ordered to close for more than 60 weeks, according to Restaurants Canada, cannabis stores serviced customers — though sometimes just at their doors — for all but a handful of days.

  1. It was a perfect storm of supply and demand in Ontario,” said Jack Lloyd, a lawyer specializing in cannabis.
  2. In 2018, Canada became the after Uruguay to legalize marijuana, in an effort to extinguish the criminal trade and keep the substance out of the hands of youth by regulating the market.
  3. The stores appeared slowly at first, because of a shortage of legal marijuana.

The provincial government permitted just five to open in Toronto, North America’s fourth biggest city, in the spring of 2019. Two of those were along Queen Street West. Back then, some 20 salespeople worked four retail floors of the Hunny Pot, walking a never-ending line of customers through the finer differences between various strains of marijuana.

The store had two extra floors for celebrities, so they could shop in private. On its best day, more than 2,000 customers came through, said Cameron Brown, the communications manager for the Hunny Pot, which now has 17 cannabis stores in Ontario. “It was nonstop, all day, every day,” he said. “It was insane.” Marijuana shops have proliferated because of loosening license restrictions, a surge of available storefront space and government permission to operate during lockdown.

Competition remained limited for the first year. But just as the pandemic arrived, the doors were thrown wide open for retail licenses. Unlike other jurisdictions in the country, the Ontario government favored unbridled competition, introducing just one simple restriction on shops, requiring that they be no closer than 150 meters to a school.

  • In only three years, sales of legal marijuana in Ontario have outpaced estimates of unlicensed sales and boosted the economy by $10.6 billion, a recent states.
  • More Canadians consume it than did before — 25 percent of people 16 and up, according to a,
  • But the crowded competition has pushed some shops out of business.

By the time Lula Fukur’s license was finally approved, and she opened her first of two cannabis shops on Queen West last year, there was already one across the street, with another three opening two blocks away. “There’s too many of them,” she said, sitting at the end of her cavernous, artfully decorated and noticeably empty store, Cori, on a recent afternoon.

  • Definitely half of us will shut down.
  • Everyone is burning money at this point.” In their heyday, the first cannabis stores were selling $20,000 a day of marijuana, on average, according to But the Hunny Pot is serving just one-tenth of its record, Mr.
  • Brown said, forcing management to close all but the front foyer, where a budtender serves customers from a simple desk.

Cori is lucky to see 60 people a day, said Ms. Fukur, who plans to fill half of one store with natural wellness and beauty products, hoping that draws more customers. Even more than unfettered competition, the biggest problem for store owners is an inability to differentiate their product, said Ms.

  • Fukur. Every legal store is required to get their supply from the government wholesaler.
  • That means they all sell the same things, in the same plain, sealed packages.
  • Yle Yong speaking with customers at Bonnefire, a cannabis store on Queen Street West.
  • A display case at Bonnefire.
  • Most have tried to entice customers with friendly, knowledgeable service and unique interior design — a difficult feat, given government rules forbid cannabis or accessories being visible from the street.

“It feels like it’s still illegal,” said Ms. Fukur, who has created a window display reminiscent of a health food store, with vases of dried flowers on wooden stumps. The nearby store Bonnefire appears like a walk into the Canadian bush, with birch trees, canoes and log piles.

  1. Already, one of the new stores on Queen West closed.
  2. Most expect more to follow.
  3. Even so, the government is reviewing another five applications for cannabis stores on the strip.
  4. Hollywood Hi is an old fashioned head shop a few doors down from Friendly Stranger.
  5. Its window is filled with rolling trays and a giant inflatable joint — permitted only because the store is not selling cannabis.

The owner, Christina Ciddio, applied for a cannabis license two years ago. She still doesn’t have it, and she’s happy about that. “Do they not check maps to see how close they are?” she said of the government office approving new stores. She figures she is making more money selling cannabis paraphernalia than her neighbors do selling pot.

What city has the most weed?

These cities are consuming the most pot per year – Growing support and stronger sales pretty much mean one thing: People are consuming a lot of cannabis. How much, you ask? For that answer, we’ll turn to Seedo and its recently released ” 2018 Cannabis Price Index,” Seedo’s report examined the price per gram of pot in 120 cities worldwide, the potential tax that could be collected if weed were taxed at the same rate as tobacco cigarettes and, perhaps most interestingly, analyzed which global cities consume the most and least marijuana each year, in metric tons.

If you’re wondering why we should care about which cities are consuming the most marijuana, the answer is simple: Public opinion is changing, and it gives cannabis enthusiasts and investors a clue as to which regions of the globe might be softening their stances on pot or may be able to take advantage of recreational-level legalization.

Below, you’ll find the 10 global cities that are consuming the most marijuana per metric ton:
