How do I get to the Mohgwyn Palace?

Getting to Mohgwyn Palace – The first step to accessing Mohgwyn Palace is to get through Leyndell, Royal Capital by defeating Morgott. After Morgott is defeated, you will be able to access the northern, snowy regions of Elden Ring. One of these regions is called the Mountaintop of the Giants, which is the section on the east side.

The section on the west side of the map is called the Consecrated Snowfields, and it’s only accessible after players have both halves of the Haligtree Medallion. You can find the right half of the medallion in Liurnia of the Lakes by speaking to Albus in the Village of the Albinaurics. Albus is disguised as a teapot hiding in the bushes along a cliff inside of the village.

With the right half, you can then go to the Mountaintop of the Giants and find the left half of the medallion at Castle Sol. With both halves, you can return to the Grand Lift of Rold, which lets you access the Mountaintop of the Giants. But instead, use the hidden path to access the Consecrated Snowfields. Where is White Mask Varré?

White Mask Varre is the first NPC character that players come across in Elden Ring, found right outside the Stranded Graveyard elevator that leads to the beautiful first vistas of the Lands Between, He once told players to go die in a ditch somewhere, but now he is more well-known for calling players “maidenless” for the first time.

  • Varre’s intrigue doesn’t end at this initial meeting point, though.
  • In fact, Varre is tied to one of the most powerful demigods in Elden Ring, the Lord of Blood, and completing his questlines grants players the ability to have an audience with Mohg in Mohgwyn Palace above the Siofra River.
  • He doesn’t move much, has simple requests, and is relatively easy to satisfy.

Updated August 2, 2022 by Erik Petrovich : The White Mask Varre quest is one of the game’s most important for three reasons – it rewards a reusable PvP invasion consumable that replaces the Festering Bloody Finger, it’s the fastest means of reaching Mohgwyn Palace, and it’s the easiest way to get to the best Rune farming spot in Elden Ring.

Why isn t Varre at the Rose Church?

Did you speak with the two fingers at the Roundtable after killing Godrick? As this conversation is mentioned at Rose Church where you next meet them. I’d start double checking this Last edited by Slenkhar ; 28 Mar, 2022 @ 4:27am Na²-L 28 Mar, 2022 @ 4:29am Also make sure you check for him outside Rose Church, not inside, he’s by the back door if you come from the south. He shouldn’t move from there until you talk to him, so Slenkhar is probably on point, gotta meet the fingers. You can’t miss him at the round table, right? I double checked. I also went around the church. He is not there. I guess maybe I killed him? And it seems he is the only NPC that that atoning for your sins doesn’t revive him. Na²-L 28 Mar, 2022 @ 4:47am He’s not meant to go to the Roundtable, you are. The door that was previously closed is now open and you get to meet two new “people”, after that you go to Rose Church. Rogue 28 Mar, 2022 @ 4:52am You need to talk to the crone at round table, in the 2 fingers room. Then he’ll appear at rose church after first step. Unless you killed him(can’t be reset via absolution) or mohg(via alternate path) already, then he’s gone forever till ng+.
