Arriving On Mt. Gelmir – 
A look at the layout of Mt. Gelmir. Getting to Mt. Gelmir on its own is a whole task in and of itself, and there are actually three ways it can be done. Two of these methods involve being teleported to Volcano Manor, which lies at the top of the mountain.
- To reach the top of Mt.
- Gelmir by the more traditional method, you’ll need to have reached the Altus Plateau.
- From there, collect the map for the region (found Northeast on the main road from the Grand Lift of Dectus or the Old-Ruin Precipice).
- Head towards the Minor Erdtree and follow the road around it and to the west, across a bridge with The Shaded Castle below at your right.
Keep on this path and eventually you’ll come to a rope-bridge, with the Bridge of Inequity Site of Grace on the other side. Congratulations, your journey up Mt. Gelmir is just getting started. For most of this guide we will assume you took the simpler “climb up the mountain method,” but below are the two other ways for being teleported directly inside Volcano Manor.
- Volcano Manor Invitation Near the Scenic Isle Site of Grace in the Liurnia of the Lakes region (directly south of the Academy Gate Town) you’ll find an NPC named Rya.
- She wants you to retrieve her stolen necklace and bring it back to her.
- To do this, go northwest of the Scenic Isle until you see a shack, where you’ll find a Site of Grace-the appropriately named Boil Prawn Shack.
Talk to the NPC there, where you’ll have the option of purchasing Rya’s necklace from him for 1,000 Runes. You can also kill him and take it, should you so desire. Return to Rya and give back her necklace, after which she will present to you the Volcano Manor invitation.
- That is, unfortunately, not the end of it.
- You’ll need to track down Rya once at the top of the Grand Lift of Dectus to be teleported to the manor, and that will involve either activating the Grand Lift of Dectus or climbing through the Ruin-Strewn Precipice in order to arrive on Altus Plateau.
- When you’re in Volcano Manor, also make sure you look upstairs.
You’ll be invaded by an NPC wielding Ghiza’s Wheel, which will be yours once you win the fight. The Lichdragon Fortissax secret boss can be found in the deepest parts of Deeproot Depths in Elden Ring, 
First, start Fia’s questline. After giving the broken dagger to D, Hunter of the Dead, players must travel to Nokron and beat the Valiant Gargoyle boss. A coffin will spawn at the end of the boss room. Interacting with the coffin teleport players to another hidden area, Deeproot Depths, 
Upon arriving at Deeproot Depths, head west and light the Great Waterfall Crest Site of Lost Grace and summon the Elden Ring Steed and ride west, then:
Sprint to the giant tree root that connects two platforms. Jump on the root then keep following its path until players reach the other side. Move northwest and activate the Deeproot Depths bonfire. A Palm Reader NPC should be sitting near a cliff.
Now, move northeast and go through a narrow pathway. This leads to a small building (which looks like an elegant garden house). Pick up the Deeproot Depths map fragment then keep moving southwest to the Nameless Eternal City Site of Lost Grace. 
From there, go south through the giant archway and make sure to kill the knight or they’ll chase endlessly. Then, head east and climb the tree roots then move forward alongside its path. 
Once the root branches into two paths, take the one on the right. Walk along the path until it ends. Jump onto the broken root on the left and move forward till a Site of Lost Grace is visible underneath. 
A Site of Lost Grace should be visible from above. Drop down and light the Across the Roots bonfire. Head northwest into a large open area. Fia will be inside, but before interacting with her, players will fight in Fia’s Champions boss fight. Beat them, then give her the Cursemark of Death and exhaust Fia’s dialogue. Now, reload the area and interact with the sleeping Fia to enter her dream. 
Inside, tarnished will fight against the Lichdragon Fortissax. Upon beating the dragon, players will gain the Mending Rune of the Death-Prince to unlock the Age of Duskborn Ending, Additionally, beating the dragon grants 90,000 Runes and the Remembrance of Lichdragon.

Fort Haight will be located around the same place that Kenneth said it would be. Head directly to the south of the Mistwood, and on the coast, in the location pictured above, you will see a castle-like fort. Approaching the fort, there will be a Site of Grace nearby, so you do not have to worry if you die while trying to clear the area, you can respawn at its entrance.
- Fort Haight contains a relatively large amount of enemies for its size, and it can be easy to become overwhelmed.
- Firstly, make sure to avoid the arrows shot from above when approaching the fort; they hit hard and can cause a great deal of damage.
- Due to the high density of enemies here, a good plan would be to utilize Spirit Ashes, such as the wolves you can get from Ranni, the Witch at the Church of Elleh, or ranged combat such as sorceries, incantations, or arrows.
In the entrance, there are a number of weaker enemies but also one extremely tough foe. From the fort’s entrance, a mad pumpkin head enemy will appear. - While not a boss, this can be a tough enemy, and losing to him will send you back to the start of the area.
- Once again, if your Spirit Ashes have survived this long, utilize them.
If not, the commander is extremely vulnerable to backstabs; lock onto him and strafe behind to deal a huge amount of damage. Most importantly, avoid his blood attacks: they will make light work of you in the early game. To do this, when you see him winding one up, create as much distance between the two of you as possible.

Getting into the mountains is easy enough. From the Erdtree-Gazing Hill Site of Grace in Atlus Plateau, all you have to do is head North to the Tibia Mariner boss location. The entrance to Mt. Gelmir is to the left, past the boss. There will be a Site of Grace here, Seethewater River.
- You’ll get the title sequence for Mt.
- Gelmir and can begin your adventure.
- Follow the shallow and boiling river.
- You’ll pass a cave you may not notice, Seethewater Cave.
- It requires a Stonesword Key to unlock and contains the Mushroom armor set.

Kill the dog int the shack, and pillage the remains for Large Glintstone Scrap, which is a consumable magic item. Crush it in your hands, and it’ll release a bunch of magic bolts.

- Handle the dogs inside the shack, kill the guy chiseling on the wall, and collect the Smithing Stone,
- Make your way behind the shack, and collect the Smithing Stone,
- Get back on the lift, facing southeast, step on the pressure place, and ride it up.
After a second or two, you’ll see an opening. Jump or roll off the edge, and you’ll wind up on B2. (If you miss the jump, you can always do the same thing but while riding it down. You can technically also use the same technique that we used on the first lift in here, jumping off the boards on the side from above, but that’s way more dangerous, and you’re likely to fall off and die.)
