How do you start Jar Bairn’s quest in Elden Ring? – Jar Bairn’s quest doesn’t officially start until much later in the game, though you can meet him at any time in Jarburg. Jarburg is underneath the Carian Study Hall, and you can access it either by jumping down the gravestones south of the tower, near where you fought Liurnia’s spin on the Tibia Mariner.

Exhaust his dialogue, then reload the area and speak to him again. He asks you to pick flowers, but doesn’t mention which ones. How do I complete the Jarburg quest?

Jar Bairn – Not far downhill from the Jarburg site of grace, there are some steps leading up to the front porch of a house. An animated pot named Jar Bairn is seated along their edge. Speak to him, rest at the nearby site of grace, speak to him again, and keep repeating this until you exhaust his dialogue.

He’ll ask if you want to be the new Potentate, but you’ll quickly learn you’re not cut out for it. He’ll also mention his uncle Iron Fist Alexander. After some time (either passing time at the site of grace, fast traveling around a bit, or progressing other questlines), he’ll also tell you about poachers who hunt living jars.

Once Diallos arrives, Jar Bairn will complain about Diallos’ smooth hands. Exhaust both of their dialogue options. Return to the Jarburg site of grace, pass time, and keep checking in with both Jar Bairn and Diallos — it’ll take two or three in-game days.

  1. Jar Bairn will move into the road when tragedy strikes the peaceful town.
  2. Talk to both Jar Bairn and Daillos to exhaust their dialogue options again.
  3. Bounce between the site of grace, Jar Bairn, and Diallos a couple more times until you can pick up a Numen’s Rune, Hoslow’s Petal Whip, and Diallos’s Mask,

Jar Bairn will return to his seat on the steps near the site of grace. The final step of Jar Bairn’s questline is to return to him with Alexander’s Innards, Hand them over and hit the Jarburg site of grace to reload the area. He’ll leave behind the Companion Jar talisman that makes your cracked and ritual pot throwables deal more damage.

Where is the jar town?

How To Get To Jarburg Elden Ring Jar-Bairn lives in Jarburg – an inspired town name, to be sure. It’s possible that you’ve visited Jarburg before and not found anything interesting there. Well, now you’ll find Jar-Bairn, in addition to a variety of rare flowers that you can collect. How To Get To Jarburg Elden Ring Jarburg is located just behind the Carian Study Hall, which you can find with our guide, Instead of going inside the Study Hall, you need to climb the cliff and go around to the rear. You will find multiple gravestones jutting out of the cliff, allowing you to make your way down the cliffside and slowly enter Jarburg. How To Get To Jarburg Elden Ring Like many locations in Elden Ring, Jarburg is mostly made up of broken-down buildings, but luckily there is a Site of Grace here, in addition to Jar-Bairn sitting atop the stairs to one of the buildings. How To Get To Jarburg Elden Ring Jar-Bairn’s quest is pretty quick and brings a nice climax to Iron Fist Alexander’s questline. Visiting Jar-Bairn, he will ask to see your fingers. You may need to reload the area by fast-traveling to the Site of Grace to progress his dialogue options.

Eventually, Jar-Bairn will warn you about poachers. Yes, people who poach and smash jars. If you finished the Volcano Manor questline without killing Diallos, he will appear here in Jarburg as the new Potentate. Apparently, he just cleans the jars here. You can find him in one of the small buildings nearby, cleaning a jar.

Make sure to chat with him. How To Get To Jarburg Elden Ring The next time you come, Diallos will be lay dying after a fight with a poacher. Tell Diallos that he managed to defend the jars and he’ll die in peace. Alternatively, you can tell him the jars were destroyed, and he dies in misery. Revisit again, and Jar-Bairn will be looking over Diallos’ body.

  1. Visit once more, and Jar-Bairn will state that he’s ready to set out as a champion, just as Iron Fist Alexander did.
  2. If you’ve finished Iron Fist Alexander’s questline, you can bring Jar-Bairn Alexander’s Insides,
  3. A bit disgusting, honestly, but okay.
  4. Jar-Bairn will be happy to receive this, and will feel ready to leave Jarburg.

This is the end of Jar-Bairn’s quest, and visiting Jarburg once more will leave you with the Companion Jar talisman, which increases the damage of the jars you use as weapons in battle. Diallos will also leave you with Numen’s Rune, Hoslow’s Petal Whip, and Diallos’s Mask, found where his body lay dying.

How can I skip to Radhan?

Hate castle Redmane? Don’t want to deal with the festival or Radahn? Well, now you can face off against him without doing any of that. How To Get To Jarburg Elden Ring Starscourge Radahn is one of the most impressive bosses in Elden Ring, At least, he was before the game’s latest patch nerfed him significantly, He may deal less damage now, but the fight is still visually spectacular, and if you’re chomping at the bit to face off against him, but you don’t want to deal with Castle Redmane and the Festival, fear not, we found a skip for you.

  • Twitter user MakeSouls posted a video of themselves dropping straight into the Wailing Dunes – Radahn’s boss arena – from Greyroll’s Dragonbarrow, and then spawning by the Stake of Marika just by the portal that leads to it.
  • To perform this skip, you first need to get to the Fort Faroth site of grace in east Dragonbarrow.

You could ride there from Limgrave and through Caelid, or you could use the portal behind the Third Church of Marika in Limgrave and ride south from the Bestial Sanctum. From Fort Faroth, skirt around the side of the building and drop down a piece of the cliff that juts out onto a ledge below.

Be careful though, it has those weird vampire bat creatures on it. From there, throw yourself off the cliff and into the Wailing Dunes below. When you land, you’ll die instantly, but that’s fine. the game registers the death inside the boss arena, so it offers you the chance to respawn by the Stake of Marika just by the portal that leads to and triggers the Radahn battle.

Simply go through it and fight the Starscourge General himself. We at TheGamer have tested and confirmed this method ourselves, with the new 1.03 patch downloaded. Going this way avoids the kill plane that surrounds the rest of the cliffs around the arena.

Can you do Ranni’s quest without getting her ending?

The third ending – How To Get To Jarburg Elden Ring (Image credit: Bandai Namco) Here’s where we get into mild spoiler territory. I’ll refrain from revealing anything significant, but be warned that Ranni’s quest can affect Elden Ring’s ending. Simply completing the quest won’t lock you into anything, though.

Without getting into too much detail, there are three possible major endings in Elden Ring. One of them requires a convoluted sequence of actions beneath the royal capital, Leyndell, which your maiden, Melina, explicitly warns you against. Another is the game’s default ending, which you can unlock just by completing the game normally.

The third ending is the culmination of Ranni’s narrative throughline. If you want to see Ranni’s ending — and be aware that this will lock you out of the other two choices — look for Ranni’s summon sign after you defeat the final boss. Once you summon her, a cutscene will begin and you’ll see what her quest was leading up to.

  1. However, if you complete Ranni’s quest and decide you want the default ending anyway, that’s fine, too.
  2. Simply don’t summon Ranni after the final boss, and you can choose the default ending instead.
