Deathwish option in GTA 5’s last mission outcome – Deathwish is the canon ending for GTA 5 since Michael, Franklin, and Trevor are supposed to survive in the end. Choosing the Third Way results in an all-out fight against all the factions that have wanted to take Michael, Trevor, and Franklin down throughout the game. Franklin meets with Lester to discuss the problem. 
After brainstorming solutions, they come up with a plan to lure Haine’s FIB agents and Weston’s Merryweather mercenaries to the same location. Franklin calls Lamar for backup as he meets Trevor and Michael at the Foundry. What follows is a firefight between FIB agents, Merryweather, Michael, Franklin, Trevor, and Lamar. 
After these groups are dealt with, Trevor kidnaps Devin Weston, stores him in the trunk of a car, and parks the car on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Eventually, Devin is confronted by Michael, Franklin, and Trevor, who all say their goodbyes before pushing the car off the cliff. 
The game ends with Michael, Franklin, and Trevor parting ways as dysfunctional friends. Congrats on finishing GTA 5! Who to kill Michael or Trevor?
Deathwish: – 
GTA 5 features three main characters: Trevor, Franklin, and Michael. When playing as Franklin, players will come across two sadistic villains: Steve Haines, a corrupt FBI agent, and Devin Weston, a billionaire. Steve Haines orders the player to kill Trevor.
Devin Weston, on the other hand, wants Michael dead. Both options are equally overwhelming for GTA 5 players. If Franklin ends up killing Trevor, he will lose his closest friend and the hard-earned trust of his mentor. If Franklin kills Michael, he will lose his father-figure and his best friend’s trust.
There’s never been a greater dilemma. Option C, generally known as The Third Way, allows Franklin to team up with his crime partners and kill the bad guys. This is perhaps the best option of all in GTA 5’s story mode.

Can Franklin hang out with Michael after killing Trevor?
After the mission –
Since Trevor is mentioned to be alive by Ron Jakowski in GTA Online’s Smuggler’s Run DLC (which takes place in 2017, 4 years after the events of GTA V), it is confirmed that this ending is not canonical. The player can no longer play as Trevor after the completion of this mission and any Trevor-specific activities are no longer available including property management, The Vanilla Unicorn remains available as a strip club, but it is no longer usable as a safehouse. Trevor’s Bodhi will be permanently destroyed, unless the player has stored it after stealing it from Trevor. Michael and Franklin can still hang out with each other, but if the player tries to make Franklin and Michael meet before Michael’s e-mail, they will talk and he will admit that he is affected and blames Franklin for it, saying he needs more time, so the option to hang out with Michael or Franklin becomes unavailable.
However, if the player does not make the protagonists meet on the street before Michael’s e-mail, they can still hang out together, but they will always be out of breath, saying things like “I think I can go out with you one more time.” Jimmy will no longer hang out with Michael due to Michael’s involvement in Trevor’s death, but can still hang out with Franklin, because Jimmy doesn’t know that Franklin was involved in Trevor’s death. Franklin can still hang out with Lamar Davis, but only at night, due to Lamar laying low to avoid Stretch.
Michael and Franklin will receive their shares from the Union Depository heist along with half of Trevor’s share.
What to do after killing Trevor?
You can decide to restart the story mode over and when you attain the final mission, you select deathwish. When you select this, you get a chance to save all three characters and get all strangers and freaks missions available. Also the Deathwish is also pretty fun and interesting.

- This is the best choice because all the crew members have the lowest heist cut of their categories, and the obvious approach does not require a hacker, so the protagonists need even less to pay for the crew.
- Also, choosing the obvious route does not require paying out a $300,000 bribe, and only one vehicle needs to be upgraded, as opposed to three in the subtle approach.
It’s also important to know that if Karim Denz has no experience, he must be selected as the second driver, to drive the train or he will crash making the crew lose half of the score. For the subtle approach, the best choice would be Rickie Lukens as the hacker, Karim Denz and Taliana Martinez as the two drivers; and Daryl Johns and Packie McReary or Chef as the two gunman.
Rickie has the lowest cut of the hackers, so he does not receive too much of the final score. Even if he doesn’t have previous experience, he will not cause too much trouble to the crew. Karim and Taliana have very low cuts, and if Karim has no experience he must be selected as the second driver, or else he will lose part of the score.
As for the gunmen, Daryl has the lowest cut of all them, so he must be selected as the second gunman, for the first gunman, it must be a good gunman, like Packie or Chef. Even with previous experience, all the available bad gunmen will drop gold while loading the gauntlets, losing part of the final score.
