The first step in dealing with Adula is to start the first encounter with her. As players make their way through Liurnia of the Lakes, they will eventually come to a Legacy Dungeon in the Northwest corner of the map called Caria Manor. Once players make their way through this area and defeat the boss waiting at the end, they will gain access to the Three Sisters, a small sub-area that houses multiple towers, including Ranni’s Rise.
Once players make their way towards Ranni’s Rise, they will encounter Glintstone Dragon Adula for the first time. By doing battle with her and depleting her health enough, she will eventually disappear by flying away from the area. Adula can then be found waiting in front of the Cathedral of Manus Celes.
Unfortunately, this area is inaccessible and only reached by going through Ranni’s extensive questline, which will eventually lead players to the Moonlight Altar and give them access to the area high above the Village of Albinaurics. It takes a long time to reach this point, with players having to obtain the Fingerslayer Blade, defeat the Baleful Shadow, and then down a powerful boss in Astel, Naturalborn of the Void.

Dissolves away for me to never see again. it’s a coward and ran away. You’ll meet it again some point later It is by design. It’s supposed to happen. They say you meet him again later, though I didn’t. That dragon is one of two in the game that flees the scene when its HP gets low. You will need to complete the questline and reach a certain special area that unlocks after continueing the Ranni quest. Then you can kill it for real. FromSoftware pushes players to explore Limgrave by making for the average low-leveled Tarnished to realistically beat. Bypassing this by leveling up very quickly with tons of runes can thus result in a Lands Between that feels neither vast nor dangerous, but instead is a mostly straightforward path toward whichever boss is next.
Players who don’t care about lore and are just looking for the biggest rune gain possible from the giant white dragon in Caelid should remember to equip the Gold Scarab and consume a before Greyoll dies! Besides, killing Greyoll through the exploit nets fewer runes than returning to Caelid when one is at a high enough level to face her offspring. 
Greyoll’s Roar costs 50 FP to use and its main function is to decrease the attack power and defense of enemies within a short radius of the player. While these debuffs can be useful, Dragon Incantations like Smarag’s Glintstone Breath and Theodorix’s Magma might be better suited to players who like dealing flashy damage, Rotten Breath is amazingly handy in most situations, and no one needs to murder any sleeping animals to get it.

This makes killing Greyoll much easier, as the dragon’s health goes down faster when bleed is applied.
If you don’t have a Hemorrhage weapon, then something Poison, Scarlet Rot, or Frostbite will also work, although these weapon types kill the dragon significantly slower. If you want to kill Greyoll another way, you can eliminate all five of the smaller dragons surrounding it. These are Greyoll’s children and killing each one will deal 1/5th of Greyoll’s health.
Killing all five will eliminate Greyoll. Once the dragon’s health is completely gone, you’ll be awarded 74,000 Runes and can exchange Greyoll’s Dragon Heart at the Cathedral of Dragon Communion in Limgrave. If you kill the sleeping dragon in a New Game Plus, you receive significantly more Runes.
