How to get the Nagakiba katana in Elden Ring Screenshot by Gamepur To get the Nagakiba katana in Elden Ring, you have to either kill Yura, Hunter of Bloody Fingers or complete his long, difficult questline. Find Yura, Hunter of Bloody Fingers underneath the arched ruin a short distance east of the Seaside Ruins Site of Grace.
Screenshot by Gamepur We killed Yura by backing away into the open area southwest of his campfire, where there is plenty of room to keep him at a safe distance. His attacks have long reach but are mostly slow with a lengthy recovery. Dodge them either by backing away or by rolling forward to either side of him, and counterattack using long-reach, thrusting attacks.
Screenshot by Gamepur Once killed, Yura will drop the Nagakiba katana, one of the best katanas in Elden Ring due to its extremely long blade, which allows you to poke at enemies from long range like a polearm, while also affording the faster-slashing speed of a sword. It also offers marginally better Guarded Damage Negation than a regular katana. : How to get the Nagakiba katana in Elden Ring

- The Nagakiba can be found at the last location the player spoke with Yura prior to being possessed, at Yura’s camp north-east of the Seaside Ruins grace, or at the underpass below the Murkwater Coast Site of Grace (If they did not speak to Yura at all before meeting Shabriri.

Is Nagakiba any good?
Better than other Katanas? – While there are a few other Katanas that are superior to the Nagakiba, the main advantage of this weapon is its length. It’s nearly similar to a spear and you can hit enemies that are somewhat distant from you. This can be a big advantage when you fight bosses or multiple enemies at once.
Its moveset is just like other Katanas but its thrust attack is powerful and it has a really good range. In fact, it has the longest reach out of all the Katanas in the game. It’s certainly a really good weapon and it’s my personal favorite Katana. If you’re into Samurai aesthetics, this is the perfect sword.
You can also dual-wield it with another Katana, and it makes for a really good build.

Does killing Yura give you his armor?
Where to find Ronin’s Set in Elden Ring –
To aquire this armor, the player must kill Shabiri at the Zamor Ruins in the Mountaintops of the Giants, The armor is also obtainable from the same location after accepting the flame of frenzy from the Three Fingers, Note that killing Yura at an earlier stage will not provide the armor, but it will also not prevent Shabriri from possessing him.
How early can you get Nagakiba?
Killing Yura Prematurely – Players can obtain the Nagakiba as soon as they’re chucked out of the cave into Limgrave. All they have to do is walk up north to the river that connects to Agheel Lake, They’ll come across a dungeon named Murkwater Cave; outside this cave, Bloody Finger Nerijus will invade players. Kill Nerijus and then proceed north up the river, and Yura will be present in a shadowy covered area, just standing by, looking cool. Players can talk to him, but if they’re really itching to get the Nagakiba immediately, they can just attack Yura. It can be a tough fight if low-leveled, but he can be easily stun-locked or staggered.
Upon killing him, Yura will drop the Nagakiba katana, a few Runes, and nothing else, so those drooling for his armor set might want to abstain from this method of obtaining Nagakiba.

What katana is best Elden Ring?
1 Rivers of Blood –
Strength | Dexterity | Arcane | |
---|---|---|---|
Stat Requirement | 12 | 18 | 20 |
Base Scaling | E | D | D |
It’s debatable whether Rivers of Blood is better than Moonveil, but there’s an argument to be made for why this is currently the best Katana in Elden Ring, and overall one of the best weapons in the game in spite of the recent nerfs. First off, Rivers of Blood is the only Katana that scales with Arcane, which increases both its Blood Loss build-up speed and the damage inflicted by its unique skill, Corpse Piler.
Corpse Piler is an upgraded version of Double Slash that comes with extra range and the ability to inflict fire damage. This is in addition to the regular physical damage and bleeding. While it can be difficult to follow through when using the regular Double Slash, that’s not a problem when it comes to Corpse Piler thanks to its extra range.
Performing the full three-phase combo eats up a lot of FP, but that’s ultimately a small price to pay when you consider the damage output. Next: Elden Ring: 10 Best Strength Scaling Weapons

There will be a bridge here, and you should go underneath this bridge and you should find the Nagakiba on the left side of the bridge. In case you become the lord of the frenzied flames, Shabriri will willingly give up the armor for you.

How do I trigger Melina Elden Ring?
How do you level up in Elden Ring ? Upgrading your character, regardless of Starting Class, with statistical boosts is one of the most important things you can do in Elden Ring, but the ability isn’t available from the beginning and you may be confused what to do. The ability to level up in Elden Ring is something you have to actually unlock. It occurs very early on, but you could be wondering why you can’t for the first hour or so. Essentially, you need to be visited by Melina at a Site of Grace, She is the NPC you give Runes to in exchange for character upgrades.
Melina will introduce herself after you have interacted with and rested at your third Site of Grace, It doesn’t have to be any three in particular: you just have to rest at any random ones and open up fast travel back to them. After resting at the third Site of Grace, a cutscene will automatically play and Melina will visit you.
For most people, this will happen at the Gatefront, Now you’ve unlocked the ability, you can select the Level Up option after resting at any Site of Grace to begin spending the Runes you’ve got. Levelling up will be fairly cheap at the start of the game, but with the cost increasing every single time you do get a new stat point, you’ll eventually need Runes in the five figures.

Is Blood Nagakiba good?
Elden Ring Bleed Build: Weapons – With this build being focused on utilising Arcane and Dex to inflict Bleed, you’ve got a few options to choose from when it comes to the best Bleed weapons, featuring some of Elden Ring’s best weapons, and all of them look incredibly cool.
Dragon Communion Seal – With this build’s Incantations primarily being dragon ones, this seal is your go-to, as it buffs all dragon communion incantations by 15%. It also increases the build-up of status effects cause by spells, and the seal scales with Arcane. You’ll need 10 Faith and 10 Arcane to use it. Rivers of Blood – The Rivers of Blood katana is one of my favourites, with its skill – Corpse Piler – being a repeat slash attack that can inflict a huge Bleed build-up on enemies. You can grab this by defeating Bloody Finger Okina outside the Church of Repose in the southeast of the Mountaintops of the Giants. It requires 12 Strength, 18 Dex, and 20 Arcane to wield. Blood Uchigatana – If you’re starting as a Samurai, you’ll already have the Uchigatana, but it can also be easily acquired from the Deathtouched Catacombs in Limgrave. The Uchigatana causes Bleed build-up passively, but if you infuse it with a Bleed Ash of War, such as Bloody Slash, it’ll cause even more blood loss. It requires to 11 Strength and 15 Dexterity. Godskin Peeler – The Godskin Peeler will need to be scaled with Dexterity in this build, and requires a little strength to wield (Radagon’s Soreseal will help in a pinch), and it probably gains the second top-spot after Rivers of Blood for me. The twinblade doesn’t cause Bleed initially, but is arguably one of the most powerful weapons in the game regardless with its skill, Black Flame Tornado, and can be infused with a Blood Ash of War. You’ll need 17 Strength and 22 Dex for this weapon. Eleonara’s Poleblade – This twinblade puts on a good show, that’s for sure. With its skill, Bloodblade Dance, you can perform a tornado-like attack of slashes and deal plenty of Bleed damage. Its downfall is that it can’t be infused with an Ash of War, but it’s still a strong choice due to its unique attacks, Bleed and Fire damage, and its ability to stagger enemies. This weapon requires 12 Strength, 24 Dexterity, and 19 Arcane. Blood Nagakiba – Similarly to the Uchigatana, the Nagakiba is all the more powerful when infused with a blood Ash of War. It will cause bleed passively as is, but with an Ash of War, this can be doubled. If you’re wielding the Uchigatana, this is a great choice for a dual-wield. You’ll need 18 Strength and 22 Dexterity for this one. Serpent-God’s Blood Curved Sword – This is at the bottom of all weapon options because it’s perhaps the last weapon I’d go for, but if you’re committed to more of a challenge and have extra points to apply to Strength, the Serpent-God’s Blood Curved Sword could work for you. It scales with Strength and Dexterity, so if your Dex stats are low, this isn’t worth bothering with. When infused with a Blood Ash of War and upgraded, however, the weapon can scale with Arcane. You’ll need 13 Strength, and 9 Dexterity. Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear – This is probably better suited for a New Game Plus run, since you obtain it by trading Mohg’s Remembrance after defeating the Lord of Blood, but it’s an excellent weapon either way. The spear deals normal and fire damage, has a high chance of landing critical hits, and comes with a deadly skill, Bloodboon Ritual. The skill stabs three times and creates blood explosions, then coats your weapon with Bloodflame, which can even damage enemies behind walls. It needs a whopping 24 Strength, and 14 Dexterity, and 27 Arcane to wield.
