What does the Beast Eye do in Elden Ring? Screengrab via FromSoftware The Beast Eye is an item you receive from Gurranq, Beastman Clergy in Elden Ring, although what it actually does is not immediately apparent. Reaching the Beastman Clergy isn’t easy, since most players reach the NPC after defeating the Tibia Mariner in the Summonwater Village through the nearby Sending Gate.
Screenshot via Dot Esports The Beast Eye notifies you when a nearby boss drops Deathroot, which is what you can feed Gurranq for more valuable items. A message stating “The Beast Eye quivers” will appear each time you’re near a boss that drops the rare item, and you should always try to defeat them.
- You can also summon D, the character that initially pointed you in the direction of the Sending Gate, at each boss that drops a Deathroot.
- Some of these bosses are difficult to beat at lower levels, so don’t feel ashamed to summon the much-needed health.
- Each time you acquire a Deathroot, return to the Beastman Clergy for another prize.
He will eventually become hostile, but he’ll return to a friendly state after you deal enough damage, and you can continue bringing him Deathroot. This is an optional side quest, but the Beast Eye makes it easy to know when you can get a Deathroot, and the items given by the Gurranq can help almost every type of build.

- The strongest, and this is thanks to the influence of the Greater Will being spread because of the Elden Beast and the Two Fingers.
- Because it turns into the Elden Ring, then turns back into a beast to fight when the vessel is destroyed, the Elden Beast is, above all, an extension of the Greater Will.
The Greater Will’s interference in the Lands Between is perceived as either a blessing or a curse depending upon who is asked. What melee weapon is best against Elden Beast?
Best Strategy: Pillar Attacks, Black Flame, and Anti-Holy – Because the Elden Beast has such a high HP pool and takes up such a massive area, there are a few tricks players can use to cheese the boss. Pillar-type spells, like Black Flame Ritual, deal damage in focused points over a spread area.
- Because of the Elden Beast’s size, these focused areas all hit at once and stack, taking out chunks of its HP bar.
- In general, the Black Flame is powerful against the Elden Beast because the lingering damage is percentage-based.
- The damage-over-time unique to Black Flame spells doesn’t last long, but against a high-HP enemy like the Elden Beast this small amount adds up quickly, to the point that it deals as much damage as the attack itself.
Using gear and spells that reduce incoming Holy damage is key to surviving the Elden Beast’s strongest special attacks. The majority of the Elden Beast’s attacks deal majority Holy damage, so going into the fight with the Haligdrake Medallion Talisman, the Holyproof Dried Liver consumable, and spells like Lord’s Divine Fortification can go a long way in negating the boss’ deadly moveset.

What do you get for killing full grown beast Elden Ring?
Phase two – When the air around the boss starts to distort and electrify, sprint away to avoid getting caught in the AOE. Phase two starts at around 50% health. It is largely the same as phase one, but with a couple deadly added attacks:
Reverse gravity. The Beast will always start phase two with this attack. Its eye will glow purple, and the air surrounding the boss will distort and electrify. It will then lift you (and any other players caught in the vicinity) into the air, holding you there for a moment before slamming you into the ground. When you see the boss start to wind up this attack, simply sprint away to get out of range of the attack.Energy beam. After charging at you twice, the boss will shoot a deadly energy beam at you out of its eye instead of charging you a third time. The beam is very difficult to dodge, and can easily one-shot you if it connects. Your best bet is to get behind the boss to avoid it all together. Get in some hits on its tail while you wait for the effect to end.
Get behind the Beast after its second charge to avoid the energy beam. It takes a while to whittle it down through its thick armor, but with some patience and careful dodging, you’ll defeat the Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast in no time. When you do, you’ll be rewarded with 21,000 Runes, a Somber Smithing Stone, and the Fallingstar Beast Jaw-a Strength/Intelligence-based melee weapon that comes equipped with the Gravity Bolt Skill.

Can you remove red eyes in Elden Ring?
How To Change Your Eyes Back To Normal In Elden Ring – To reset your eyes in Elden Ring head to either Roundtable Hold or the Grand Library of Raya Lucaria, provided you have defeated Rennala. In Roundtable Hold the mirror in Fia’s room can be used to alter your character’s appearance and name at any time – by talking to Rennala instead, players are still brought to the same customization menu without consuming a Larval Tear.
Head to the face editor and select the “Eyes” option. At the very bottom of this list is the option for Eye Alterations. This can be toggled on or off, and when you switch it to Off, your eyes will return to their original color and iris shape. You cannot choose between which eyes you want to have, though, as your character always defers to the last custom eye appearance obtained.
To use the previous example, you can become a Bloody Finger to get Red eyes, then become the Lord of the Frenzied Flame which will overwrite the eye color to be yellow. Elden Ring is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.

Elden Beast final boss fight rewards and Remembrance – (Image credit: FromSoftware) Killing the Elden Beast is the final challenge of Elden Ring, so the first reward you get is pride, or perhaps some sadness that it’s nearing the end. However, killing it will also get you a princely 500000 Runes, as well as the Elden Remembrance, which can be used to create the Elden Ring Sacred Relic Sword, a weapon so good we made this page on it! You can also use it to make Marika’s Hammer, which we discuss on the same page.

What is the blasphemous claw used for Elden Ring?
Blasphemous Claw use in Elden Ring –
The Blasphemous Claw can be used to deflect the power of the Black Blade, acting similarly to a Parry, Can parry specific melee attacks from Maliketh, His sword will briefly glow yellow before attacks that can be parried.
His sword also glows white before his projectile attacks, but these do not seem to be parriable.
If timed correctly against Maliketh ‘s glowing attacks, stuns him temporarily, giving a massive window to attack. Does not seem like the Blasphemous Claw can be used in PVP against the Black Blade incantation or Maliketh’s Black Blade weapon. Has been tested a bit and did not seem to work against them, but more testing would be helpful.
