Why is it getting sent so late?
@kiarahakura I have no idea! I don't like getting angry at deliverymen because they work hard and get paid so little, but Target as a corporation has no excuse for these poor shipping policies for a preorder made like 3 months ago! *grumble grumble*
I never use target, so I had no idea they were that bad. :( I'm sorry to hear about the delay. I usually buy all my games and game equipment at Gamestop or BestBuy.
You can play the Yakuza series during that time then. :o )
@kiarahakura Best case scenario, the long delay is a placeholder so that some empty-headed idiot doesn't try to sue for late delivery.
@Gig Worst case scenario, I binge on Horizon Zero Dawn like I'm supposed to be doing for work :^)
Playing video games for work, what kind of witchcraft is this ?!
I am loving Horizon! I think the lore of the game just speaks to me. Also the combat feels really fluid. I usually take a long time to get used to combos and dodging (took forever with witcher3).
Also game testers get paid to play games as their work :P So it does exist lmao
I feel your pain. My order for Breath of the Wild doesn't ship til March 6, not due to arrive until two days after that. I just wanted to climb a mountain and go parasailing. Let me breathe the wild!!
@Gig I work with a small video game guide startup company :)
@Marr I'm the other way around right now...I ordered Breath of the Wild off Amazon b/c Prime discount, so it's going to come in tomorrow promptly...with likely no Switch to play it on DX
In some ways that's worse. You have to stare at the game. It will mock you with its very presence. By Tuesday, odds are decent that you're going to be sticking the cartridge in various appliances around your house, checking if your toaster or washing machine can play Switch games. (I wonder why Amazon has done me dirty, I too used a Prime account?)
