I tried 10 twice. I am done. I don't think I cleared a c10 anyway
C1~3 are easy.
Did C4 ~ C7 co-op with Sarasvati/Rukia pairing.
Currently trying C8, died twice once on boss because I failed on combo, and again because there are no heart orbs on board after the gravity and skyfall killed him so I didn't have enough HP to tank the next floor's preemptive.
Will try later on after my stamina regenerates.
Good luck to all.
After making the post above, I finally cleared C8. This time no heart orb troll and I didn't flubbed my combo. Failed to captured my kill shot because I wasn't expecting it.
I tried once more and beat C10. This is the first time in awhile that I cleared a complete set of Challenges. Not the descended ones as those are usually easier.
IlmNerva was MADE for this C10, lol. those resists are MVP.
Did all solo, c9 with aizen and c10 with ilminerva
C8 was really fun and not too hard, Hades was a god send though.
C4-C7, C9: Aizen
Minerva for the first three and Aizen for the rest. Okuni was kind of interesting, better than the other fixed team ones so far imo.
didnt plan on doing this until i saw this reddit post
Revo Ra was made for C9. Ace Horus killed tengu 3x over himself so that was fun. Didn't even bother to make other colored prongs. Haven't done C10 yet. I usually procrastinate challenges til saturday/Sunday but saw how easy c9 was and yea
Coming out of semi-retirement. This was quite fun. Solo-ed all. Loved the Okuni challenge.
C10: New Ilmnerva team. Sweet ride. Unexpectedly got it on the first try.
the hardest part of C10 is not getting screwed by Laila. if you get past her with decent health, you win so long as you have a team that could tackle Myr M+.
Finally co-opped C10 with Myr, too lazy to solo. We had a bit of a rough run but it went well
F1: Activated resolve and skill drop, then my partner pinged to death
F2: I one-shot because we were lucky with light and heart orb RNG
F3: Stalled off the absorb of course, I failed the one-shot and my partner got it
F4: Stalled a floor to get actives back, partner flubbed, then I got the one-shot
F5: Stalled off damage void, my partner ate the bind and right as her shield wore off my actives came back up, one-shot.
C10 with Minerva/Ilm after failing a couple times with Lakshmi trying to stall. Was easy mode. Mad I didn't just use this first.
Tricolor with Lakshmi
Everything else with Aizen.
I finally cleared C10, co-oping with myself
This is the second set of challenges that I've completed outside of dungeon challenges (my first complete set of challenges on my alt)
As usual, my Sarasvati/Rukia pairing. This is my second try on C10.
Too much stamina, so I solo'd everything. C9/C10 featured the new and improved Anaphon, now with 100% more Plum. I kept dupe Anaphon as a sub because teams with 5 haste actives are funny.
No deaths. Everything's hyper except dupe Anaphon. Also, for the C10 run I inherited a (non-awoken) Haku on Plum. Haku + Akechi is just so much more consistent than Anaphon + Akechi.
Didn't wanna torture poor Noctis with this 10? Or just enjoying the new plum purchase? Looks like a good choice to me.
I'm really surprised you're using anaphon as a sub, isn't her active pretty lackluster for the team? What's your experience with using a 4 colour board changer like her?
Yah, just Anaphon's time to shine. But Noctis hasn't cleared a C10 yet, so he'll get his turn.
Basically I have two on-type options for that spot: dupe Anaphon, or dupe Akechi. I can see an argument for Akechi being a more optimal choice. But for me, it's less about the optimal choice in this case. When I run Anaphon instead of Myr, I want to appreciate the differences in their playstyles. Anaphon means lots of haste and being able to reset the board pretty much whenever you want. And you get more of all that with an Anaphon sub.
The Anaphon active does occasionally provide fewer than five hearts, which can be aggravating when you're just trying to stall. But because of all the haste, you almost always have another active available to improve your board: Akech, Plum, or Yomidra. I'd still use Haku (inherited) + Akechi for a kill board if I need the maximum possible firepower (usually I don't).
Btw, for No Hearts dungeons (e.g., C9), I think the dupe Anaphon is more optimal. Overall, Anaphon is probably my best team for No Hearts dungeons.
I co-op everything with my Alt these days because I want the most out of my STAM. Since my Alt doesn't have any cross leads (other than Sumire) or other leads that I play, I've had to get creative with my pairings.
C1-C3: ALB (Main) Dios (Alt)
C4-C6: Yomidra (Main) Castor&Pollux (Alt)
C7: Myr (Main) Castor&Pollux (Alt)
I think I ran out of time for C8-10.
