Since the update yesterday, my game closes out and reverts any progress I make in a dungeon. It closes out even in the menus as well Is there a way to undo the update?
Send a ticket to gungho so that they know. Meanwhile, trying different graphic or performance settings on your phone might worth to try. If you happen to be able to undo the update and installed older version, you won't even be able to play the game dive the game will just telling you to update every time you open it up.
I have the same issue! First bug I've seen in PAD in years. I sent a ticket via http://www.gunghoonline.com/support/?gameid=173&stype=general I have a Sam Gal Note9 (not rooted); I happened to install the latest Android update (security) on the same day the PAD v18 update came out (not sure if that's relevant). Now when playing some levels (Halloween Night, Star Treasure's Frontier), I'll be 3-4 floors in, and in the middle of comboing suddenly I'm switched to the Android home screen. 2nd time, PAD will crash, and when I restart it, it starts me back on floor 1. Lather, rinse, repeat. [ETA: Wow, my footer is out of date. Poor DAthena...]
There's a workaround for that. When you cleared one floor, switch to another app or just back to homescreen, but don't close PAD. That way, the game will save your progress so that when it crashes you won't have to restart the dungeon back to first floor. Annoying, yes, but it seems like the best remedy for now until they sorted it out.
This is the same issue I've been having on my s9+. I've tried this fix along with other suggestions on reddit, but none of them have worked yet. Guess I am just SOL until an update/fix is released.

Due to the file size, a Wi-Fi connection is recommended. I had already tried the first four with no success. (My Note9 has 90GB free space, lol.) Not sure I want to go the data recovery route, when it seems clear this is some kind of software bug. We'll see.
I got the same response. I will humor them and try the data recovery route and let you know if it actually does anything. Edit: I tried the data recovery suggestion and it didnt solve it. I'll respond to their email with my phone specs and OS version, but as Dunamos said this is a bug issue.
Same here, sent them a support ticket as well. And same deal, this is the first bug i've come across in PAD really, outside of my old phone being shit several years ago and likely having been the problem at the time. I'm on android 9, it does appear that the title screen and the screen it loads into first (the dungeon type select screen, with special/multiplayer/quest/ranking/etc), aren't crashing.
This crashing business is out of hand. I can't get through a dungeon without it crashing multiple times and then resetting the dungeon. FIGURE IT OUT GUNGHO.
i played a bit this morning, it seems to have gotten fixed, at least in the time i ran stuff, i spent about an hour fiddling with assists and running the mythical PR for the free pull, ran borma, etc, no crashes the whole time.
I experienced the crashing bug too, but I have another issue that GungHo hasn't responded to yet... I'm running the game on a Pixel 3XL and there is a strip at the bottom of the screen that doesn't render in the game. It's really annoying. I installed the update and it didn't fix this display issue. Hopefully it fixes the crashing at least.
