Just curious :3 Hatsume was and always will be one of my favorite cards - stylistically and for utility - and although I could skill inherit her onto a better card, I'd rather keep that ridiculously useful 5-turn cooldown. Plus I have her hypered and I don't want to fuse her away and reskill a dupe :p Although I may actually skill up the dupe and skill inherit THAT onto someone else... hmm, thoughts.

Anyone else still using the original ninja clan?

I've actually never ran one seriously* in 995 days, despite having them all max skilled. I always would get super close to running them on something and then pull another, better sub while I was prepping the team in question.

*As in, I've ran things like Sasuke on GZL, but that was a novelty team with a weird subpool restriction.

Used Sasuke for ages on bastet, but no SBR hurts too much nowadays so i inherited him on her mostly because at the time i couldn't inherit australis because she was only lvl 97 lol

During the last Co-op days i saw a lot of people running hanzo on pandora with something else inherited on him.

they will become a little bit better once they get their double killers, but their stats are still low and with co-op becoming pretty much the focus of the game short cd orb changers are not as necessary as they were before..

I think Hatsume has a leg up on the other ones, specifically because of Karin/Ryune, Hermes, and Andromeda. combining her active with Andro/Hermes or with Karin/Ryune gives you so many options to fix nearly any board; it's ludicrous. I'm not sure if the other ninjas have that same level of synergy in their color? I know Hanzo does fix a lot of boards too, and Fuma was supposed to be perfect for LKali (but who runs LKali these days...?)

I honestly think they are underrated. having an orb-change up, usually on a unique color (dark to blue for example), every five turns? That's golden, despite their lackluster stats and awakenings. of course on stall teams they become significantly less useful in that regard.

I will agree that lack of SBR can kill them dead in the water on some teams, but badges will fix that. Honestly I wish we could trade awakenings with the wizard pantheon, one skill boost for one SBR might help push them into the next tier of awesome.

Dark to Blue has Y'Shtolla, who has better awakenings and a better active. Granted, that's a 5* Collab egg, but point being there's generally a better option out there...somewhere. And even if we sort by availability over power, there's still Amberjack.

I'm not saying they're awful, but underrated feels like the wrong term when there's usually an option that "over-rates" them.

Got Sasuke a couple of godfests ago. Was extremely happy and hypered him as I had wanted him for years (literally). He's a main sub in most of my green farming teams, and a staple in my Astaroth team. I'm in the process of debating giving him awoken neptunes skill.

I also still have my Fuma who I ran on my LKali for forever.

They will become way more practical with the new killer awakenings.
I still use Hanzo on my pandora team for quicker farming. I think the biggest drawback besides no sbr is weak stats. If they just bumped them up slightly, I could see them being relevant again.

If like to point out that if you run Hanzo and Dr haku on Fa luci you have killer actives against dragon, attacker, devil, and 3 against gods. So yeah holy shit. Hanzo murders beelze and grisar.

I use Sasuke on Bastet. The 100% poison block can be pretty awesome.
I don't lead with Kali since I got Sakuya, so I really have no use for Fuma.
Chiyome doesn't really have a place on my Shiva team, although she is max skilled.
Hanzo would provide some use but I don't have him.
I would use Hatsume alot but I don't have her.

They're still good but they've fallen victim to power creep, particularly stat creep, just like any other old card. It's most apparent when using NY Hanzo on a ADQXQ team--I barely break 20K HP with 3/5 members hypermaxed because Hanzo himself has an absolute trashy 1300 HP w/o +eggs.

Yeah the stats need a serious boost. At least ~720 weighted would be nice

I don't use them, thought I have them all max-skilled except for Fuma Kotaro. I didn't have any of them for the longest time, but right about th time they became obsolete, I started pulling them (of course). I didn't pull Chiyome until the last PCGF, so it took me a long time to complete the set.

The ones I still consider using from time to time are Hanzo and Hatsume, but I can't say I really use them at all.

The only one I have is Fuma, and he was a staple on my LKali team for a long time, but he's long since been benched. I'm not even sure their upcoming buffs in the form of killer awakenings will bring them back to relevance.

That said, they're not bad cards and are perfectly servicable if you don't have better.. but they are pretty much outclassed these days.

They are toolkit specialists with upcoming buff to make them hunter specialists vs specific types of enemies/problem-targets.

Not bad for what they are.

Sure they have "weak" stats in spots......with Hanzo's HP probably being the glaring "worst" case of it to make up for nice attack and RCV otherwise......they are good at what they do, dangerous when they work, and that is that. Good for short cooldown orbchangers as always.

Great defensive specialists than what most believe since last buffs.

x3 defensive awakenings of "whatever" is arguably very good.

Sasuke carrying 60% Poison resist all by himself on one card stands out actually.

    60% Jammer resist stands out.

60% Blindness resist stands out more than some expect too....but of course that depends

I think with upcoming killer buffs.....they are "just right" balance vs their theme of being Ninjas. Niche Defensive specialists + niche dangerkill specialists

Way back when I ran Yamato I used Chiyome all the time, and sometimes I put her on with AShiva.

I only got Hanzo long after DMeta fell out of favor, but I'm considering using him on my wip Pandora team. Or maybe an upgraded DMeta team.

Sasuke is on my ABastet team and was on my fledgling GZL team, but I learned that I hated playing below a certain HP.

Hatsume is on my Andromeda team, and may work her way onto a YouYu team. I used her for a while on my early bird U&Y team, but then I rolled I&I.

All ninjas can be useful due to double killer now. Lower attack ninjas are obviously less useful but Hanzo and Sasuke for instance do see use. Hanzo is the MVP on multiple dungeons, for example he makes 297 Hera dungeon quite easier since he gets 9x on Neptune and Hades. Sasuke helps with Grisar on Devil Rush. Their active is still great (a kind of random "off-color" orb changer on low CD) and they do have good awakenings, no SBR and terrible HP is the price you pay for the whole package though.

Just want to point out that while Hanzo's HP is weak, his ATK is very strong: nearly 2,500 with +eggs and ATK latents. Usually he's the card on my A. Pandora team that gets the biggest damage number; he hits like a truck! And the team already has all the HP it needs from other subs anyway.

AND: His 60% blind resistance takes a lot of the irk out of farming Kane, and other places.

I'm inheriting Satsuki on him, to kill jammers to make farming dog dragons easier... because I just pulled my first Akechi, and sadly this means Hanzo's getting bumped from the base team. Sorry man! It was a great run.

I pulled a Hatsume last month and thought "ehhh, an orb changer, fairly useful" but I never ran her or level d her up because I had an easier orb changer ( abyssal Cyberdragon Sadalmek) on my water team.

But with the new Killer awakenings, She's my next priority to level up once she gets them.

I used to use ninjas. Recently I've only used them to form immunities against annoying things like dark or poison for specific farming teams.
