Hey everyone...found this game on my old phone and was able to transfer it to my current phone. I don't remember a thing about how I should build a team. I remember I was going for a Ronia team but I'm not sure if I should be going in another direction. I have about 250 eggs though. Should I be pulling from the machine or should I wait until there's a good God fest going on?

    Thanks

Ronia and Lu Bu + Ronia team isn't a thing since 2016 or so. lol

Btw... there are some good cards on your box, but I don't see anything reliable as leader nowaday.

I think you should try a few rolls on 10 stones godfest. You can get an Ideal or Valeria. You could also wait for the other 10 stones which have Dark Metatron (she's a "new" "meta"... kill me.).

Your best bet right now is to lead with Red Odin. He's slightly dated as a lead these days, but he can still clear a lot of dungeons and he'll make do until you roll a stronger lead. The issue with him being dated isn't so much clearing content as that you'll have a hard time finding friends who run him. If you can't find Mega Odin friends, you could try to team up with a strong bi-color lead like Barbara & Julie (http://www.puzzledragonx.com/en/monster.asp?n=4788) or Suou (http://www.puzzledragonx.com/en/monster.asp?n=4796). But instead of four fire orbs and 6 combos, you'll need both of those and a water match of at least 3 orbs to trigger your leader skill. Madoo (http://www.puzzledragonx.com/en/monster.asp?n=4411), a lead that requires you to match 5 of any kind of orb, would also be a solid choice for a friend's lead. As for a team, try the following:
Mega Odin: http://www.puzzledragonx.com/en/monster.asp?n=4431. When you move on to better leads, he's also a great sub when you need to deal with enemies that void damage above a certain amount. He has an awakening called void damage penetration (VDP) that allows him to personally attack for more damage when you match a 3x3 square of fire orbs.
UEVO Urd: http://www.puzzledragonx.com/en/monster.asp?n=3762. She makes hearts, changes to board to get rid of hazards like jammers and poisons, and has the crucial follow-up-attack awakening. Follow-up-attack basically allows you to finish off enemies with resolve, which allows them to survive with 1 damage when you hit them hard enough to kill them. When you make a column of hearts, you do an 1 extra damage to finish them off on the same turn. You only need one follow-up-attack (FUA) on a team, but most strong teams these days have one.
Reincarnated Yamato: http://www.puzzledragonx.com/en/monster.asp?n=4274. Yamato is just an all around solid sub for fire teams. He makes hearts, gets rid of jammers and poisons (conveniently turns them into water orbs if you pair with one of the bi-color leads I mentioned), he has multiple copies of the two prong attack awakening which you'll be able to use any time you match 4 fire orbs for Odin's leader skill, and he has the overpowered 7 combo awakening that doubles his damage when you hit 7 combos.
Reincarnated Horus: http://www.puzzledragonx.com/en/monster.asp?n=3272. Horus has great awakenings. He has 3 skill boosts for getting your active skills up quickly, a 7 combo awakening for doubling his personal damage when you hit 7 combos, and two-prong attacks. Horus's active can be used to boost damage, but I would actually add Sonia to him as an assist. When you add a card as an assist, you can use the second card's active on the first. This would allow Horus to use Sonia's active, but it'll take a while to charge since you would need to wait the time it takes Horus's active plus the time it takes Sonia's active. You could also just put Sonia on the team, but her awakenings are not so great for this team. There are a lot of guides floating around the internet about how assists work. Here is one such resource: https://mantasticpad.com/tag/assist-system/
UUEVO fire Valkyrie:http://www.puzzledragonx.com/en/monster.asp?n=1728. Again, really nice awakenings including 7 combos and two prong attacks. Valkyrie also just has a really fast active, so if you skill her up you can often use her active multiple times in one dungeon if you're in single player or a longer dungeon.

Your first priority should be to evolve Odin. Your main obstacle to doing that will be getting a diamond dragon fruit. The easiest way to get one right now is to beat indigo in the march quest dungeons. Indigo is an older dungeon, so you should be able to beat her if you evolve what you can. If you're having difficulty with Indigo, you could potentially use something like Ronia to get an extreme king metal dragon (assuming you can't snag one through the achievements). Then fully evolve Valkyrie and then pair her up with a healer or fire lead like Madoo or Valkyrie Ciel depending on what typing your cards have.

***Note: There are quite a few leads better than Red Odin, so you're likely to roll a better one if you roll in some godfests like @Super Random Box suggested. So expect this team not to be your strongest reasonably soon. Regardless, a lot of the cards you need for it, including Odin, should be useful on other fire teams in the future.

I would suggest rolling a bit in the the current special event (not the regular REM, the thing that costs 10 stones), maybe 60-80 stones? Because some of the common rolls are quite good. But I'd save the majority of the stones for a super godfest. Yes, there are super godfests now, they also cost 10 stones but have a 1/3 chance of getting 6-star or better.

Just keep in mind what you'd be rolling for. The present 10 stone machine (Dragonbound and Dragon Callers, i.e. DBDC) is for obtaining specialists. You can't get cards like them elsewhere, but a lot of them, especially at the lower rarities, are the kind of things you'd bring for specific floors or dungeons. Additionally the best leads from a godfest and super godfest, e.g. DMeta and the Typhon's upcoming evo, are at least as strong as the best leads from DBDC. And if you get too many dupes of some GFEs that start at 6 stars (like Rodin), they can be traded for collab leads. So for new boxes, super godfests tend to offer a lot more value. You do have A LOT of stones, so you'd have plenty of stones left if you decided to put some in DBDC.

I do not k ow how good you are in getting huge numbers in combos.
Revo Kushi (paired with friend Ciel) could lead you for a time. Revo Okuninushi, Revo Tsukoyomi, RevoAnubis, Revo Durga are all somehow in this style and some of your best subs for now. Save more stones for Monster Hunter and/or Super Godfests.
