    What.

You do know that this a Japanese game right? ID codes existed in JP long before they existed here.

I'm sure they didn't use the phrase "Age-Hybrid Identification Code" in Japan and picked out random letters to scramble the user ID codes with it.

Also, what are the chances that you picked out a random phrase, "Age-Hybrid Identification Code", that Japanese engineers ALSO picked (again, why would they pick a phrase in English) and happened to pick the same random letters from it to scramble.

I'm sorry you wasted so much time on this theory.

Erm... it appears to have been proven. Just look at all the people decoding their IDs in this topic (especially the confirmation from those who have ~600 login days). No one has said that they definitely use that term to describe the ID, it just happens to work out quite well in explaining what to decode the ID to.

For me, my ID decodes to 324,736,696. That turns out to be nearly the one millionth account (940,851st).

Actually, there is no way to prove it because nobody knows their actual number. Also, you're just moving numbers around, and it always starts with 3XX,XXX,XXX. If I changed the order from AGEHBDIFC to ACHIGDECF, would you be able to tell the difference?

He is making huge assumptions by arbitrarily subtracting Yamamoto's (randomly) mixed up ID as well.

Just wanted to add that OP often makes broad generalizations based on his own experiences: i.e. 2 pluses drop in one run of Poring Expert vs none in one run of Poring master for him. He assumes +egg drop rate is much higher in expert than in master. Also, he doesn't get a lot of drops in a couple normal dungeons on 1.5x. He assumes 1.5x isn't really turned on, etc. etc.

Seems like he's a person who tries really hard to find patterns where none exist.

Yeah, I have no idea how i failed that math quite so terribly. I even did it twice. My brain can't hold 9 digits anymore, i guess.

Yes, I would: By your order, my account is 4944050 behind YamaP, which makes negative sense.

I think the OP said he had create a lot of accounts that he noticed a pattern in the Friend ID.

First he noticed the 3rd position is the least significant digit. And then from that point on, he extrapolated other digits based on subsequent accounts he had created.

After a while, he formulated a theory on how to unscramble the Friend ID into actual sequential numbering assigned for new account. Then he tested his theory with various friend ID and their creation dates, and proved that his theory does work.

So what's the problem here...? has the scientific theory failed us?

Sorry, gut reaction to what seemed like a ridiculous theory. I think it was his "Age Hybrid Identification Code" decode phrase that made me instantly reject the theory.

Does seem like the scrambled number theory is legit though. I stand corrected.

I wonder how GH separates the Registration ID count from its download count for events. My wife started playing 40 days ago and she's in the 8 millions. I started 350 days ago and I'm in the 2 millions. We just had our 4 million download event last month.

First, I know this game is Japanese. And the phrase "Age-Hybrid Identification Code" is never official. It's just a way to help me remember that the order AGEHBDIFC. You could call this anything you want, and yes, GungHo randomly scrambled 9 letters to make it like this. I only noted, not invented.

That is possible. Because every time the fifth digit change, there are a million people.

Well, after observation before, during, and after rerolling, I noted that indeed is the pattern. If you need proof, then reroll just looking at the top-left corner couple times each godfest.

And yes, I might be as you described. But notice how I'm only a kid and have poor English and demonstration skills. Please excuse me.

This means each person (download) owns about 1.8 accounts. But I own 20 or 30 times that amount... And if you count the ones I tested for this, then 100 times won't be enough.

And again, Age-Hybrid Identification Code is just a way to remember AGEHBDIFC. My apology.

This pattern is correct. It's not a theory, it's something Gungho actually does.

Apple will tell you how many times your app has been downloaded from the App Store. They use that number instead of the registered accounts.

That's a really neat find and I'm amazed you managed to do this through sheer pattern recognition apparently? :0
So my ID is 384046297, after unscrambling it it'll be 324980764, doing the subtraction gives me the info that I'm the 1,184,919th person to create an account, is that right?

My ID is 387868299, so if I did this right then unscrambled it's 326988987, making me the 3,193,142nd account on the NA server. Pretty interesting!

Ok... So is this doable with the EU side as well?
If so I can get my ID and you can experiment. I'm confused and crap at maths...

That would mean we would now have 1,000,000+ players then?
We didn't celebrate it with an event I don't think. Odd...

    If I got this right
    364,034,295

    323,960,544

    164699th acc

Assuming this only accounts for NA accounts seperate from JP, thats possible I guess, I joined early 2013 so

That's really interesting. Following this logic, my ID is 334 530 285 which translates into 323 835 503, making me #39,658 in NA. Which makes sense because I started somewhere in the first week in November '12.
