Used 5 297 to get Unbindable Rikuu. in a world with scarce +eggs, this will be rough. Rumors of +15 PEM tomorrow? Good luck everyone!
Used the freebie on my Rikku got 7c... good enough for now, will only be using freebies on these type of awakenings.
I think I'll wait out this requirement (297 +eggs for a 1/3 chance of getting the super awake you want) just like I waited out the requirements for adding a 6th latent slot. I was thinking of taking a PAD sabbatical while we wait for the QoL improvements announced on the JP stream this week anyway.
Yeah, I am thinking eventually they're remove that requirement and then also maybe make them valid in coop. Plus eggs are in a weird spot right now because they're worth so much less than when they were first introduced. You could tell GH was just needing a sink for them and decided this was the way to go, for now.
The gap between JP and NA was wide but manageable before. Yes, there were collabs and rewards we didn't get, but we also had the advantage of 2-3 months to plan for new content and evolutions. But that chasm got considerably wider now that GungHo is designing new game mechanics around the flood of snow globes and +eggs JP gets and NA doesn't get. Hey, it took you 5 tries to get that unbindable super awake on Rikku on your JP account? No problem, you've got plenty more +eggs where that came from. Oh, it took you 5 tries to get that unbindable super awake on Rikku on your NA account? Well, there goes 80% of your +egg stash. (I'm exaggerating for the sake of comparison here.) I already have a full-time job. There is no appeal in farming +eggs or XP or MP or spending more time clearing out box space than playing the game. I signed up to play a puzzle game and that's what I intend to do. If I wanted to pick up a second job, I'd at least want to get paid for it.
I was gonna go for rikuu, I know he's great but I really haven't used him...I was thinking revod hades for unbindable dark cheese team...ana for fua, or Apollo for his void piercer so I can use him for recovery and don't have to drag a pixel around with me...but like everyone said I don't have that many plus eggs to be doing this over and over
I hear you and I don't intend to do a widespread super awakening distribution. This one was definitely worth it as my team is fully unbindable now. There's a select few I really want to do, but I mostly play BH/ALB coop because they are the most consistent leads for high HP, good RCV, damage control and high enough damage when needed. Only 3P and A4 are not done with BH/ALB. I use Oichi for 3P UDR and hopefully Rikuu will get me a clear of A4 at some point
I was looking through all of the options as I was hoping to try it out. But, currently I use Ideal and Nergigante as my main leaders and really didn’t see anything worth blowing a +297 on. I was on the fence for Persephone as Damage Void Pierce would’ve been nice. But, I’d be better off pixel evoing Sephiroth or something instead. So no new toys for me today. Guess I’ll wait to see what Legato has to offer.
Thought I try on Rikuu but I mostly use him in coop. In solo I use my Nergigante so I used the +297 I had on Persephone and got the VDP on first try. Lucky me!
I will only feed one +297 for every card that's eligible for SA. I'll take whatever I can get (except for crucial SA like bind resist on Rikuu). I have so many cards yet to be +297'd so I prioritize them over getting SA. Luckily I got bind resist on Rikuu on my first try.
I went for Apollo and got vdp first try gonna throw dragon killers on him rather then use pixel lightning for all my light teams and then maybe do rikuu next
the Pixel Lightning Skill boosts though. so nice. and the team HP awakening. I get it though, Apollo is a beast in all other respects.
Got FUA on Anaphon on the second try. Not too bad. In general, I hate how this is set up. I just gave Odindra and Yomidra whatever. Not worth trying again because I don't know what would be best.
IMO, if you want OdinDra as an all-around sub, Physical Killer or on a lesser choice, <80% HP, ATK+ (jeez how do we call this). There's no physical enemies with annoying mechanics, yet, so far.
