    Hi, I previously rooted my Nexus 7 but now did a factory reset with the most recent Android 6.0.1. However, JP PAD still crashes or closes upon launch. Does anybody know why?

    Thank you, I flashed the second linker and PAD is now working on my optimised jdcteam CM13 for GT i9505. Can you explain what is the linker and its purpose ?

    You can still play the game on CM13/CM12.1/CM11 but you have to unroot completely. I'll explain later when I have time.

    Edit : Found a new way with rooted rom. I'll post the tutorial as soon as I can.

    I attempted to hide both su and daemonsu file but no luck on v9.4.1. Would be great if Sasori95 could offer us some help.

    Hi,

    Sorry for being late. First I need to test my method so 3 persons are doing it (you included I hope) and then I will post it ;).

    Has anyone succeeded in hiding root from PaD with the help of Magisk?

    Yeah, using Magisk would work.

    However, seems PAD would be forced closed if using systemless xposed from the same author as magisk.

    I have to stay the old way of using xposed but then it failed to work with pokemon go.
    Anyone knows how to fix it?

    Hi,

    To make PAD JP work (backup everything first in TWRP) in Lollipop/Marshmallow/Nougat/CM12/CM12.1/CM13/CM14 :

    1) Uninstall SuperSU (unroot completely in the settings)

    2) Edit your boot.img-ramdisk/default.prop with those lines (easy with Android Image Kitchen from osm0sis) :
    ro.secure=1 (always 1 in CM)
    ro.debuggable=0 (always 1 in CM)

    Then flash the new boot.img with Flashify (boot file) or TWRP (choose Install-->"Images.." instead of "Zips..") at the bottom right-->"Boot" instead of "Recovery"-->Flash

    3) Delete those files (in TWRP-->Mount "System"-->File manager) OR flash UnrootCM.zip in the recovery (easier)
    /system/bin/su
    /system/xbin/su

    4) Flash Magisk v6 in TWRP http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=19960&task=get

    5) Install phh's SuperUser 17 (Magisk Version) in TWRP http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3847928&stc=1&d=1471642336

    6) Install phh's SuperUser from the Play Store

    7) Install Magisk Manager http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=19924&task=get

    8) Allow Magisk Manager to have root and disable the root toggle (it will become green instead of red), try the SElinux toggle if it doesn't work (everything has to be green).

    Good luck !

    Thanks to :
