I'm offended that you made him God/Devil/Attacker and not just Devil/Attacker.
How DARE you.
Because he truly believed he was god. LOL. (Yes, I actually thought about that)
Did you just assume his divinity?
How dare YOU.
are we really arguing about hitler's pronouns?
Better than arguing about forms of internet communication
Arguing is why forums thrive, how dare you again.
I existed on the CoD and BF forums explicitly to argue with people.
How DARE you guys argue with me about arguing!!
because you're a scrub. Don't try to come at me when you're PLR (Posts to laughs) ratio is under 27.83.
Here are the pages that I "land on" when I "look up information about PAD"
Sure, reddit is on the first page, but it's pretty damn near the bottom
(and guides on a platform that resembles a chatroom? lolplz
I know they exist. It's just not intuitive. At. All. A guide in a chatroom--really, you'd have to know the specific of Discord and of the PAD Discord bot thing to know that guides exist in the PAD Discord places. You don't know that because of the definition of a chatroom, so... why go to a chatroom for guides?)
(I mean, sure, we know that PAD Wikia was abandoned a long time ago and that even PAD Wiki, which is where they migrated to, isn't as active, but... that's not obvious on sight)
Who searches Google for guides anymore?
People know to go straight to Reddit at this point
The real issue is that there's nothing to talk about anymore in this game.
Team are either premade by gungho or you simply use a leader with multiple 7c subs, utility and active are a minor tweak at this point.
The new difficult content is also a joke, to prevent sweeping withou actives there are bosses with hundreds of million of hp where you can't actually use your big shot leader because of some stupid bullshit gimmick.
If i need extra info i usually look at youtube, discord is kinda a chore to look up stuff.
Completely disagree with you here. I didn't even know what reddit was when I started playing PAD, I googled it and found this place. I now am subscribed to plenty of subs and I ONLY know about reddit because of PAD, and I didnt find reddit until being directed there from, of all places, this forum.
I am reasonably tech savvy (I work in marketing and web development), and I kind of knew what reddit WAS, but not being a gamer, I had no idea that it was the "forum" of choice for gaming, sci-fi, etc. I just knew it was some type of user-generated content.
There are a TON of people whose first reaction to anything new is to "google it", hence why there are thousands of SEO companies in the US. And @nickjr was just noticing that searching google doesn't bring up the subreddit in the first couple of results. It would be a completely reasonable thing for someone new to the game to google search for guides.
I have to disagree. Reddit is a gigantic community that isn't exactly niche. Artists, Writers, Gamers, Movie-watchers, anime-lovers, sink-peers, Trump-lovers, Trump-haters, Knife-enthusiasts, *Throwing* knife enthusiasts, Bro-ified bible thumpers, helpful-yet-unethical tip-givers, and you name it all gather there. The scope of the community there is gigantic. Reddit might not be people's first choice for game help, but it's definitely high on the list.
Basically once you use Reddit for one thing you realize you can use it for everything. Even my sister knows to go to Reddit for tsum tsum strats.
Also, if you Google it it does show up in the first few results. It doesn't when you put "guides" after it. Hence, "who searches Google for guides anymore?"
Gotcha. And I do agree with you, I was surprised how large the reddit community was when I delved into it. I just didnt really know much about it.
Ahh. I stand corrected. And Yes, my experience is the same, I now enjoy reddit immensely. (Especially since I recently bought a ps4 and started console gaming. The Monster hunter community there has helped me immensely, as the game is really complicated).
I've started MH as well. Haven't started posting yet or anything but it's definitely eaten my PAD time.
Are you on PS or Xbox? If you are on PS add me! My gamer tag is bp1976jamz
I am still in low rank on MH, dont have a ton of time to play, I just killed my first diablos
I'm on PS but I don't even have PS plus lol. I do all my play solo sadly. I just finally killed Nergigante after like 55+ hours... I'm not that good. I've also swapped "main" weapons too many times.
you know, there's a difference between being a giant community and being all inclusive. Reddit is huge, but not everyone uses it, and it certainly isn't bigger than bypassing a google search in terms of most people's first avenue towards finding something. if you already use reddit that may be different but there's still a LOT of people who don't use reddit. assuming that everyone does is silly. as @bp1976 mentioned, he didn't even know about it til he came here. you have people like me who knew about it but just didn't use it (and still largely don't) for various reasons. its not everyone's be all end all of the internet. It's huge but its not EVERYONE.
