After countless runs of blindly matching and hoping for a high score, I finally got the key to this. The key is just to hit a very high combo in like the 4th stage. In one of my runs on this 7x6 board, I got like 20 combos in the 4th stage and ended up with 110,000 point.
The general idea is to stall for as long as you can until you get to the later levels and then combo as best as you possibly can. The more levels you've progressed to, the more bonus points you get per combo. Mantastic made a pretty good video demonstrating how to do that. That being said, I'm too lazy and I just combo a bunch regardless of the level, I generally absolutely hate stalling and sometimes even after stalling, my points still suck so I stopped doing it.
That's almost exactly my rank I have 0 interest in crowns, so I was mostly running it for the snow globes (and some rainbow medals) because I don't have a reliable training arena team.
I ran fever 3 all the way, but stopped grinding on the 7x6 as it was too much over the last week. I did enjoy the drops and will like the medals as well.
Finished both with no stones more for the medals than the crowns. I am glad they had realistic goals this time so we could get all the rewards, got my first typhon so yay for that
Grinded out both crowns on the main, because why not, and the drops were nice. Rolled Dmeta (main) and Ryune (alt) so that was nice, too. Main also got its first Rsonia, so hey.
