I don't know where to put this so it's going here lol. I rolled quite a bit for Saber Alter. It was almost the same feeling I got when I first saw Aizen. I knew it was something I wanted to play, although this time, it wasn't sitting atop the tier lists. My buddy loves dark cards and he said he would trade for it if I rolled one, so even more incentive. I wasn't expecting it to be all that great, just more of a fun lead to play, but damn have I been wrong. I've blindly walked all over dungeons I expected to fail miserably at. I don't have any good resist equips or anything, so I'm dealing with most mechanics, and having no issues whatsoever. What an underrated lead... Some clears just from today C29 C30 Machine Noah - failed this a few times before and just gave up. Just marched right through it. Didn't need a single killer which is very rare these days. Anyways, just having a lot of fun, felt like sharing cause I'm booooored. Always feels good when you get the excitement back
I'm glad you found something that makes you excited again. I'm not sure when I'll ever find another new leader I'd like to play.
Congrats! I'm tempted to switch to Alter Saber but I only have one, and she's not exactly cheap either. Costs me almost a hundred stones to get her. My one and only diamond.
Those last two dungeons feature bosses that change your max HP. Athena changes it to 50k, and Machine Noah changes it to 500k. The first screenshot would be the actual HP that the team would normally have.
I like to try anything new but this has just been a lot more fun than others. You basically have two different levels of HP management. 80% or under to activate the leader skill, and under 50% for the big damage from all the <50% awakenings. Lot's to juggle if you want to make the most of it. Nice! Congrats on yours as well. Mine was after about 30 rolls and the 6 star bundle so not cheap either lol. I really want another for the equip but I'm trying to be sensible and save some stones now. Hopefully this will come back through for another round in a few months. Sent!
I rolled a Saber, love the base form! She's really fun to play, she made A4 a joke for me. I haven't tried A5 with her, but I'm guessing it's gonna be similar. Now, what what the incentive to switch to dark saber? Is she not a lesser DMeta? (with I guess easier team building)
Both are pretty similar when it comes to capability. I just find Alter way more interesting. Can't go wrong with whichever style you like.
To be fair, the dark form is tempting too as I clear the dust from VNey and some other non-god dark sub. I still think I'll keep Saber in her base form, as she just different from other lead I'm currently using. Additionally Mega Scheat is her best friend; I wouldn't want to separate them.
Can always flip flop if you happen to come across an abundance of water pys Alter doesn't have any skillups.
