I play the KING of PAD LUBU.
Iam full - guess you can add.
Hey guys, I just picked up Ronia in the current GF and I was wondering if someone wouldn't mind taking a look at my PADherder and give me some suggestions on building a Ronia team? Right I'm still on the first level of OOH, I just came back to the game after a long time so I'm not up on the latest and greatest.
Ronia / Amon (b/c he's devil) / Vampire / Devil Dragon (pleaase evolve him) / Get the fire or dark devil you see in dungeon and evolve him / Lubu(Ronia) friends
Hey guys, I really need to run Grimoires Descended this coming event (Devil Rush; Sorceress Mythical) to get the Red Grimoire girl so I can Uevo my Shiva. This dungeon: http://puzzledragonx.com/en/mission.asp?m=1267
This is the team I plan on using:
I wonder if that's enough? (Note: My friend would be an Uevo Sonia and I can also use Lu Bu as a leader instead etc.)
Any tips, like step by step floor breakdown of what to do? Should I evo up my Lillith for floor ? Thanks!
So I forget how to post the thumbnail images of each monster, so i'll have to settle with typing it.
Haven't really figured out how to 'get good' at this game yet, so instructions are always needed. lol
What do you guys think of this team comp;
Red Sonia (leader)
Pitch Black Night Princess Lilith
Awoken Dancing Queen Hera Ur
Fertility Deity Evil Ceres
Chaotic Flying General Bu
Red Sonia (friend leader)
Yes i read the guide. Yes i feel there might be better options from my stuff, but no i am not sure honestly.
For red sonia teams in general, what is the average combo needed to be successful?
I ask this because some teams require consistent high combos where as others can seemingly get away with lower combos.
Im not a ronia specialist, but I can point out some inadequacies in your team. Others can chime in if needed.
1. Not enough red/dark rows. That team has a total of 3 red/4 dark rows which is inadequate.
2. Lack of orb changers and too many burst actives (Lilith, lubu, hera ur)
From your box, I would recommend the following:
Ronia/Lubu/Chiyome/Rd Shiva/mini ronia/Ronia
Or dark focussed.
Although honestly, you have much better choices than Ronia.
Bastet, Horus, Sakuya, Amaterasu, U&Y, Sumire for example. Ive personally been keeping my Ronia team on the sidelines for a while now.
Ronia also needs to combo well to some degree so that you can keep getting heart skyfalls. No heal orbs means no stalling regardless of your rcv multiplier.
In general you will end up on the ceiling of what is physically possible no matter what team you play even though you have less incentive to do so when you have double Sonia instead of Sonia with Beelzebub or Lu Bu. If you incorporate dark TPA (Awoken Loki, Beelzebub, Dill Sirius) you could end up at 6 or seven combos per board without trying too hard eventually. In general try to aim for six guaranteed combos per board for solid healing and the damage boost that her leader skill gives. On burst you should prioritize rows over the sixth combo.
As for team building itself you may want to look into Beelzebub/Loki instead. That kind of team is able to reach full skill bind immunity which is invaluable in the later dungeons.
Beelzebub - Alraune, Akechi, Hanzo, Sonia - Loki
I see. That has always been my issue at this point. I'm at the end game dungeons in the normal dungeons and my usual GSonia team cannot do it Maybe if i could get a 7+ combo each time sure, but.....
I just don't think i have enough of the ideal cards to use with each of those leads.
I'm not able to clear the dungeon needed for one of bastet's materials. For the newest bastet that is.
Hmm.... I'll see what i can do. I'm tired of being stuck with only Gsonia and not being able to clear decended dungeons or anything past Lv5 on the challenge dungeons etc.
ever tried horus, set, caocao, femme, Lmeta, horus @linari?
seems pretty solid to me for descends (all awoken OFC)
Ronia has become less relevant now with the releases of shivaD and a lot better mindless farming leads. She had her time to shine, and this is coming from someone with a hypermaxed Ronia.
She's been reduced to just sitting in my box since I run ShivaDragon/DarkMeta 50/50% of the time now.
I'm more leaning to what they will do to Ronia to make her relevant again. power creep is real... and she was the shiet in her time. Just like AA Luci or Astaroth or even ADK lol. or even 2/4/2 leads.
All were relevant at some point in their padlyfe. Gungtroll will likely make them relevant again with new split evos or something to spice up the game mechanics
I have long thought that a single lead was not viable for all of the content. Just like we pick the best subs for a dungeon, I wanted to pick the best lead for a dungeon. So my goal has been to build complementary teams. About 6 months ago, I pulled Verdandi. After a couple months leveling/egging my under appreciated green mons, I have a second descend capable team that shines where ronia struggles (e.g, blue dungeons, hera-beorc) and in some cases vis-versa. Now, I run Verdandi more than ronia because she is a far better farming lead.
I have collected several other capable leads over time. My next target lead is gadius.
I just pulled her in this current GF. I know I am never going to use her as a lead, but are there even teams running her as a sub now days or has her relevance completely faded out?
I run her chibi card as a sub on my alt's A. Shiva team and it works pretty damned well so long as her board isn't predominately dark. Other than that, I think people still use her as a farming team.
Farming-wise, the Red Sonia team that carried me a long time with my first account was
The team reached (almost) auto pilot status for King of the Gods when my Red Sonia was somewhere over 100 plus eggs and I paired with a +297 Red Sonia, and got everyone into the 80's and 90's. This was one team I did damage calculations for, since there were two easy to see damage thresholds (floors 9 and 10) and I had to make sure I make it since I planned on running it ad nauseam.
Floor 1-7: Beat and charge.
Floor 8: Trade blows.
Floor 9: Red Sonia - Hanzo - Loki.
Floor 10: Red Sonia - Akechi (Loki bonus still up).
This was my first true high powered farming team, and I was rather proud of it for putting it together and taking the time to calculate out the damages. I could achieve higher damage without firing off Hanzo and making multiple rows, but then I would actually have to make rows. Hera was a stat stick. The gravity was not necessary for the run.
Then I was overwhelmed with my scattershot box and ran away to a new account and started over with Goetia. That is, until I managed to pick up a Pandora and woke her up. Pandora moved into the lead, and Red Sonia over to the Hera slot. That turned out to be an even better team and made me interested in my old account again. That's a Pandora story and belongs elsewhere, though.
*wakes thread up*
Her LS got stealth buff in Japan!
Not only 1.5 instead of 1.2 for six combos, but her unconditional stat boost now also includes dragon types like the other two rarer Sonias!
@Reni can now ship Yamato and Ronia!
The only real problem I see for her as a leader now a days, is that its difficult for her to reach 100% SBR. Technically, you should be able to stall out any of the short SBR with a Xmas Sonia / Sonia pairing, but I could see it giving her trouble on the harder challenges like C10.
New key subs:
(JP) Vegitto for Delay and True Damage
Yamato for heartmaking
Gadius + Uriel for bicolor board with healing
Xmas Liu Bei / Kagutsuchi for TPA and Orb change
R/G Cao Cao for Delay and Orb change
Awoken Horus for 2xSBR
Red Chester for 3xSBR
NY Leilan + Yamato / Belial for red dominant bicolor board
Red Guan Yu for unbindable unbinder
With AHorus, 100% sbr is definitely doable but it doesn't leave much space on the team for other things. You can fit in delay, enhance and orb changers easily, but you'll probably end up losing out on bind clear (RGY) and shields (are there even any?). I think Ronia x XRonia probably is the ideal pairing for harder content because it practically eliminates the need for a shield. Maybe something like this?
53,834 HP and 8,660 RCV
10x 3x 13x 5x
The RCV is on the lowish end while the HP is pretty high, not sure if that is a problem. The major problem here would probably be finding enough XRonia friends to make it a regular pairing. With the stalling capabilities of this team, I'm not sure the lack of really low cd orb changers is a problem, the ones now are sitting at 7, 8 and 9.
Belial and Yamato overlap for orb changing green, however. Uriel instead of Belial maybe? Uriel has lower HP, but will bring a solid attack stat and more RCV.
Ya, the overlap isn't the greatest but the skill boosts are a sweet addition imo. However, when it comes to bursting, that is gonna suck so Uriel is probably a better suggestion.
Nice one @Derpinator and @Shadowshift ... That team looks tanky and strong as hell! I wonder if it can clear Arena... But the lack of short CD orbchangers might be a problem, yeah. It should own pretty much everything else in the game tho.
Christmas Ronia will be in the MP Shop soonish if we get the same treatment as JP. They currently have all seasonal MP cards available.
