So I was watching a Ra clear of Sandalphon descended and this player got raphael down to around 1/3 of his hp. When he activated a x16, yomi attacked first so he healed Raphael before the other cards attacked, allowing him to survive. Is there a way to tell what card attacks first or last? He'd have killed raphael in that turn if it wasn't for Yomi...

I believe it's in order of left to right?
Or was it right to left? No that can't be right...it's left to right, right?

So that means that whenever a dungeon has a damage absorption mechanic we should place subs of those colors in the right-most (or left-most) spots?

Yes. I was doing a dungeon and the color being absorbed was the alt color on my friends leader and so it was impossible for me to kill until the absorption timer ran out...

The alt color of a friend lead? So does that mean our cards attack from right to left?

It is left to right. Correct me if I'm wrong, but healing attacks always activate AFTER all the damage is done.

Damage is left to right top to bottom. So main attribute attacks first. Then sub attributes attack second. All left to right. So if you have a dark sub attribute in your sub slot 1, it would be the 8th attack (if your leader has a sub attribute).

Good to know :) But do any of you take this into account when running descends? Never seen this being talked here before :p (Then again I'm pretty new...)

It generally only matters if you have an elemental absorb boss. Then you'd usually want to stack your absorbed cards on the left so extra damage will still overkill the boss (doesn't always work). If you have an absorbed sub attribute on your friend's leader, no matter how hard you hit it will be impossible to kill the boss if it activates.

What Vorpal said. In case there's still any confusion, attacks from all cards are considered before clearing a floor. Also, monsters can't have less than zero HP, so all overkill damage is basically useless. No matter how much you overkill a monster by, if it's followed by an attack with an absorbed attribute, this will heal it up from 0 HP. That's why you want to stack cards that will be absorbed on the left, so that the heal(s) will occur first, and all damage is actually used. This is also why if your friend lead has a sub attribute that's absorbed the monster is impossible to kill, because the last attack will heal the monster up from whatever HP you brought it down to.

I always see TPA attacks go faster than regular ones though, that doesn't factor in right?
